TimelineThe Titanic sank. This traumatized margaret but she still found time for fundraisers.

Margaret threatened the quartermaster to go back to the titanic and save the others or she would tthrow him overboard.

When the Titanic sank, Margaret comforted those who had lost there husbands and sons.

Margaret did a fundraiser with all religions including indians and chinese. This took alot of courage because people were prejudice against them back then.

Timeline 2

Margaret formed a feminist group to stand up for what she beleived in.

Margaret put her life in danger when she helped a union when some of the other supporters were shot to death.

Margaret filed a petition towards Congress for those who died when there were not enough life boats on the RMS Titanic.

Margarets petition was denied but she kept

on fighting.

            Margaret Brown's RoomIf I were to design a room for Margaret it would include the following:medals to show alll the awards she got for her fundraisers, bravery and support  A cross and bible to represent her faithfulness towards god. She was irish catholic but never judged anyone based on there religion.   Nice silverware for her to use at all of her parties because she was known for her entertaining and beautiful parties  A closet full of elegant dresses, jewlrey, hats and more because she was a millionaire that was named one of the best dressed ladies.

• Margaret Brown was apart of many groups and clubs. She threw many parties where around 700 guests would come, she was a very good entertainer and well liked by everyone.

• Margaret was determined in getting things done. After the Titanic sank, Margaret was determined to find the third class women homes. She even went around the boat asking the first class ladies to donate money

When the Titanic sank, Margaret comforted the women who had lost there husbands and sons. She did this by talking to them and telling them it would be okay.

After the Titanic sank, first class didn't care about third class who had nowhere to go or anyone to support there family. Unlike them, Margaret comforted and raised money for them so that they could support themselves and there children.

  Iceberg SundaeEnjoy this yummy dish that includes snow white vanilla ice creme, crystal candy and a cherry on top. I chose this because when Margaret was on the Titanic it sank from an iceburg. 

    Charity GarciaThis delicious dish will make your mouth water. I chose this because Margaret was always donating to different charitys.

    Feminist FiletThe feminist filet give you goosebumps. The filet is said to be caught right where the Titanic sank. Margaret was a feminist who fought for egual rights. She even started a petition.

Titanic TacosTitanic Tacos will make your mouth explode with flavor. Margaret was onboard when the Titanic sank. She was one of the survivors.

 Margaret was awarded the French legion of honor. She was given this because of her lifetime acheivments and her humanitarian acts of kindness.

I thought the song RESPECT by Areatha Franklin described Margaret Brown the best. Margaret was a feminist so of course she wanted respect just like it says in the song "all im askin' is for a little respect" Margaret wanted equal rights so badly she even made a petition which she presented in court. Thats how much respect Margaret wanted.
