Reading 61% Writing 40.3% Mathematics 32.6%
Compare with 2011 data:
Reading 54% Writing 26% Mathematics 33%
Improvements in reading and writing achievement but not mathematics.
Move away from cross grouping which is not effective.
Classroom teacher groups for maths – as with reading and writing.
Increase opportunities for extension and enrichment for more students through specialist teachers.
ICT
•Greater access to computers in the classroom for all students
•No longer a timetabled, once a week visit to ICT suite
•Use of specialist ICT teacher – withdrawal groups, working in classrooms with students, alongside teacher, timetabled in class support during IBL
•Mimios (interactive whiteboards) in 8 classrooms
•Extension opportunities for GAT (gifted and talented) in use of digital resources
•Upskilling of student ‘in class’ experts
