SFIC Melt and Pour Soap Base Descriptions(12/1/12)

Clear Glycerine Melt and Pour Soap Base: (our well loved "natural" formula 20% added Glycerine, mainly Coconut oil) This is the soap base that started it all! Our soap is 100% pure soap with only the finest natural vegetable oils. We never have any animal testing, animal products (other than milk in our goat's milk soap), no detergents, no surfactants (except our crystal clear), No sulfates, no alcohol, and no sugar solutions. Give the clear a try; you will see why people LOVE our Melt and Pour! White Glycerine Melt and Pour Soap Base: (our well loved opaque "natural" formula 20% added Glycerine, mainly a Coconut oil soap) This is our white soap base that is very similar in formula to the clear soap. All the great things a melt and pour should be only opaque! Goat's Milk Melt and Pour Soap Base: (10% refrigerated liquid Vitamin D Goat's Milk) Goat’s Milk is thought to soften skin. Our Goat's Milk soap is made with real liquid goat's milk as found in your neighborhood grocery store and has a delicate creamy later with a "custard" color. The Goat's Milk is blended with our ever popular white base and is our third most popular M&P. Shea Butter Melt and Pour Soap Base: (5% added refined Shea butter) Many believe that Shea Butter moisturizes and softens skin. Our Shea base is white soap base formula with added Shea, provides creamy lather, and is one of our most popular soap bases. Olive Oil Melt and Pour Soap Base: (20% kosher grade A extra virgin olive oil) Olive oil is believed by many to create a soap that moisturizes the skin and has great lather. Our olive oil soap base is almost the exact same formulation as our clear soap base; the difference is that we have replaced 20% of our other vegetable oils by olive oil. Due to the high content of olive oil a light attractive pale yellow color may be noticeable which will darken slightly in time. Castile Melt and Pour Soap Base: (25-30% kosher grade A extra virgin olive oil) Castile soap is the old time soap made for hundreds of years. It differs from our other opaque soaps due to the replacing most of the coconut oil with olive oil. We also modified the amounts of our other ingredients somewhat so that the Castile base is not a paste. Oatmeal Melt and Pour Soap Base: (made with a large percentage of ground oatmeal) Oatmeal is said to exfoliate our skin. Our oatmeal soap is made with our white soap base and has great lather along with a “crunchy” oat look in a Melt and Pour Soap bar. Aloe Vera Melt and Pour Soap Base: (made with 5% added Aloe Vera Gel) Aloe Vera has been used for burns, abrasions and healing for centuries. Aloe Vera gel is added to our clear soap base becoming greenish in color which many think is very pleasing and natural. Honey Melt and Pour Soap Base: (made with 10% added 100% Pure Natural Grade A Honey) A generous amount of natural Honey has been added to our clear soap base to make a light amber melt and pour base. Our honey soap does vary in color depending on the raw honey that we use and heat when applied Melting and Pouring. It is light to dark amber. Crystal Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base: (25% added glycerine, exceptional clarity) The clearest soap base we have ever made! This formula is based on Extra Clear but we have made modifications to make it perfect for embeds. Note: You might notice a bit of extra "sweating" (glycerine drawing the moisture from the air) with this higher glycerine formula. Our only soap base made with a mild surfactant (Coco Amidopropyl Betaine) for clarity. Shaving Melt and Pour Soap Base: This is a clear soap base made to lather with loads of luxurious foam, great for shaving or just for someone who loves great heavy lather! Low Sweat Clear and White Melt and Pour Soap Base: Enjoy the look of cold process in a Melt and Pour soap base. These soap bases can be wrapped in paper and are low to no 'sweating'. Like Cold Process without all the work and time! Hemp Seed Oil Melt and Pour Soap Base: (5% added unrefined hemp seed oil) Our olive oil soap base has hemp seed oil added. Hemp Seed Oil is purported by many to have special properties. Cocoa Butter Melt and Pour Soap Base: (5% added unrefined cocoa butter) Our White M&P soap base with added cocoa butter, gives off creamy lather and also has a light smell of chocolate. Organic Oil Clear and White Melt and Pour Soap Base: Certified Organic Oils of Palm and Coconut have been used in our regular clear and white formulations.
