Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe Former Dominican convent from

the XVI century, Baroque style and worship the Virgin of Guadalupe, Patroness of Baena. Consists of a large central nave and two free cruise aisles separated by arches. Highlights the coffered ceiling of S. XVI covering the chapel, unique in the whole province, and a wooden altar carved and painted the second third of S. XVIII. Worthy of mention is the image of Cristo de la Sangre, dating from S. XVII and declared a Cultural de Andalucía by the Government of Andalusia in 1988 and according to Professor Hernandez Diaz is a masterpiece "which should be attributed to the Garcia brothers.

Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe According to tradition, this

place was a hermitage dedicated to San Sebastian and was in this place where there was the appearance of the Virgin to a gentleman who was heading to the Shrine of Guadalupe in Extremadura, released from his vow, if there ordered to paint its image. Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe D. In the year 1527 Pedro

Fernández de Córdoba, brother of the fourth Earl of Cabra, built a convent of the Order of Preachers by choosing to raise the building land adjacent to that shrine. When built the church of the convent, the latter was included as a chapel of the same, leading to early S. XVIII had to move the wall with the painting of the Virgin of Guadalupe. The convent building was demolished in 1855 and the Church, although it remains very reformed.

ended at the Plaza of the Constitution and its surroundings, specifically Cardinal Herranz Casado Street, is the parish office, which together with auxiliary church Santa Maria Maggiore, the classrooms, a library and the oratorio form Interparroquial Catechetical Center San Jose in which Christian trained children, adolescents, youth and adults of the three parishes in our area.

Santaella Ramón Park The construction project Santaella

Ramón Park circa late 1903, its promoters were Victor Prado Padilla, Ramon Ariza and Jose Maria Santaella Onieva.

Located on the left side of the Road to Porcuna Baema by Valenzuela, in a place known as the "Pit Dehesilla", in order to improve the hygiene conditions and eliminate the debris and manure that was in place.

The opening date is not known exactly, however in 1917 appears in an inventory and description "Dehesilla Pit", and the surface area of 2 hectares., 31 and 99 centiáreas areas and the situation where it is now.

On September 30, 1926 is requested, give your name Ramón Park Santaella, in gratitude for all the efforts he made to achieve the aforementioned park.

Over the years it has undergone several modifications of our architecture and implementation and replacement of plant species to be found as presented to us today.
