HI-50M Research Vessel

Main Function; Carry out research at sea.

Scientific equipment aboard; labs and work-rooms.

Designed with consideration of flexibility.

Does hydrographic and chemical surveys at sea.

Build was converted before. Ice breaker hull.

HI-64M Anchor-Handling Tug

Main function: Handling and transport, release of oil rig anchors.

Towing other vessels. Serve as Emergency Rescue and

Recovery Vessel/ERRV.


Anchor Handling Tugs are also supply vessels; capable of transport of goods between points.

AHTs carry winches; useful in vehicle rescue operations as well.

Due to ever-growing maritime operations and their complexity;AHTs are prone to upgrades; creating more functions based on the upgrades.
