All praise is due to Allah alone, and may Allah praise Muhammadand render him safe from every evil.

One of the distinguishingdraracteristics of a Mus1im is thatthuy believe in all Prophets andMessengers \rVhom Allatu theExalted, senf from Adam toMuhammad, ffinI Allah praise themall and render them safe from allevil.

Islam commandsand believe in all

Muslims to lovethe Messengers

and Prophets, for th*y were the best

of mankind.

Islam clarifies that disbelieving in

one of them is tantamount to

disbelief in all of them. l4lhen a

Muslim believes in Muhammad (ffi)

but disbelieves in Jesus (.*#t) he is not

considered a Muslim, even if he

believes in Muhammad (#).

Similarly, if one disbelieves in

Muhammad (ffi) but believes in otherprophets, he is a disbeliever in all the

Prophets.

Allah informs us in the Qur'an that

Muhammad (#) is mentioned in the

6

Page 8: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

Torah and Gospel, through hisdescription and actions.

Allah says:

{Those who follow theMessenger, the Prophet whocan neither read nor writewhom they find wdtten withthem in the Torah and theGospel he commands themfor Al-lula'roof (i.e. Islamicmonotheism and all that Islamhas ordained); and forbids themfrom al-Munkar (i.e. disbeliefand all that Islam has

forbidden); he allows them aslawful all good and lawful

things and prohibits them as

unlawful all evil things. He

releases them from their heary

burdens and from the fetters

that were upon them. So thosewho believe in him, honourhim, help him, and follow thelight which has been sent downwith him, it is they who will besuccessful.F 17:L571

Allah mentions in the Qur'an thatProphet Ibraheem (Abraham)

Page 10: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

supplicated Atlah to send a Prophet

to mankind.

Allah says:

{Our Lord! Send amongst thema Messenger of their own whoshall recite unto them Yourverses and instruct them in theBook and Al-Hikmah (full

knowledge of the Islamic lawsand iurispmdence) and Purifythem. Verily, You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.) l2:L291

fesus gave glad-tidings of thecoming of Prophet Muhammad (ffi).

Allah, the Exalted, says:

{nna (remember} when Jesus, son of Maryam said: 'O childrenof Israel! I am the Messenger ofAllah unto you, confinrri*g theTorah which came before ffi€,and giving glad tidings of aMessenger to come after ffi€,whose name shall be Ahmed. But when Ahmed came to themwith clear proofs, they said:'This is plain Magic'.) [6L:5]

10

Page 12: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

The Prophet (ffi) confirmed this, inthe Hadeeth (Prophetic Tradition)saying:

'I am the Final Prophet ofAllah... I will inform you of thefirst of this matter (i.e. hisprophethood); I am thesupplication of Ibraheem(Abraham), and ]esus gave glad-tidings of my coming, and mymother dreamt (of myprophethood).'

This matter is not only confined toAbraham and ]esus; Allah took thesolemn pledge of all Prophets and

11

Page 13: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

Messengers to believe in the finalMessenger and to support him.Allah says:

{Rnd remember when Allahtook the Covenant of theProphets, saying: 'Take

whatever I gave you from theBook and Hikmah(understandiog of the Laws ofAllah), and aftenuards therewill come to you a Messengerconfirrrirg what is with you;you must, then, believe in himand help him.' Allah said: 'Do

you agree and will you take upMy Covenant? They said: 'We

T2

Page 14: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

agree.' He said: 'Then bearwitness; and I am with youamong the witnesses.') [3:S1]

Ataa' b. Yasaar, said: 'I metAbdullah b. Amr b. al-Aas and Iasked him:

'Tell rne about the description ofthe Messenger of God (ffi) in theTorah.' He said: 'He is describedin the Torah with some of what heis described in the Qut'an;

'We

have indeed sent you as a witness(over mankind) and one who givesglad-tidings, and warns others,

13

Page 15: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

and one who protects andsafeguards the commoners. Youare My slave and Messenger; Icalled you Mutawakkil (TheTrusted One). You are neither ill-mannered nor rude, nor do youraise your voice. You do not payevil with evi! rather, you forgiveand pardon. I will not collect hissoul until I guide the nations, anduntil they say, 'There is no truegod worthy of being worshippedexcept God alone' and until theyclearly see the Truth.'

14

Page 16: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

Jews and Christians do not believein Muhammad (ffi). ]ews do notbelieve in ]esus (,*#ri). Th*y sayMuhammad is not mentioned in theTorah or the Gospel and, were he aProphel he would have beenmentioned in these Scriptures.

Christians say there is no Prophetafter Jesus. We wonder, did Jesushimself say this? Is there one passagein the Bible which specificallymentions that he is the Final Prophetto mankind? There is no passagewhidr states sud:r. Furthermore, does a Prophet have to be mentioned

l 5

Page 17: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

in previous scriptures to prove theveracity of his prophethood? This isnot a condition since Moses was notmentioned in the Divine Scripturesprior to his commissioning as aProphet.

Furthermore, if the Prophet was animpostor, a fraudulent person andliar God forbid why do peoplestill believe in him today? \alhy arethe followers of this Prophetincreasing duy after day? Hisfollowers are over one billion strongand growing, and th*y are found inevery country in the world!

16

Page 18: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

\tVhy do many Christians who holdimportant positions in theircountries accept Islam? Matyintellecfuals, businessmen, famoussingers and musicians, politiciansand priests have accepted Islam.Th*y are not just a few; rather, thousands of them accepted Islam. Many politicians in non-Muslimcountries now fear the spread ofIslam in Europe and America, andtry to stop it. Are all those whoaccept Islam affected by falseillusions and lies? Or did they findwhat they were really seardring for?Did they find safety and stability inall walks of life? Was it that they saw

t7

Page 19: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

the Prophet (#) a paradig* ofhuman perfection, that he was theLast Messenger, and that he is whomall people have to believe in, andabide by his teachings?

Prophecies

As for what is said aboutMuhammad (ffi) not being

mentioned in the Torah and GosPefthis is a blatant lie. Christians and

]ews have hidden the facts regarding

Prophet Muhammad (ffi) in theirrespective Scriptttres .

Allah says:

{O people of the ScriPture: WhYdo you mix truth withfalsehood and conceal the truthwhile you knowf) lg:zfJ

He also says:

t9

Page 21: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

{O People of the Scripture! Now has come to you OurMessenger explaining to youmuch of that which you used tohide from the Scripture andpass over much. Indeed, therehas come to you from Allah alight and a plain Book.Wherewith Allah guides allthose who seek His Pleasure toways of peace, and He bringsthem out of darkness by HisWill unto light and guides themto the Straight Way.) g5:t S-t dJ

The great differences between thefour Gospels clearly demonstratethat the Bible has been changed anddistorted, a fact which is known tothe people of knowledge. Otherwise, how could the story of thecrucifixion of ]esus be mentionedwith events of his resurrection fromthe grave after three days, and otherinformation which is inconceivable? What can be said about this is that itis from the words of his disciples.

Christian sdrolars distorted andinterpreted the Gospels as th*ywished. That is why there are fourgospels, and eadr differs from the

2L

Page 23: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

other! The Christians admit that thegospels were authored by fourknown men during their times. It issaid that the Gospel of Matthew waswritten by the disciple of |esus,Matth€w, nine years after Jesus wasraised to the Heavens, in Hebre'w. Itis further said that the Gospel ofMark was written by one Mark ofAaron twenfy three years after ]esuswas raised to the Heavens, and inGreek. John is thought to havewritten his Gospel sixty three yearsafter |esus was raised. to theHeavens, also in Greek. Luke was adoctor in Anatolia, a disciple of

Page 24: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

Simory and is said to have writtenhis Gospel after Mark wrote his.

It is intellectually impossible thatthese Gospels have not mentionedthe final Prophet! These Gospels talkabout matters of minor importanceand do not talk about a major eventand important issue? So how can theBible not have a mention of ourProphet, his name and his lifestyle?

Among the passages from the Biblewhich prove the Prophethood ofMuhammad are the followirgt

Page 25: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

1. Isaiah 29:!2 "And if thedocument is given to one whocannot read and he is asked to readit, he will say: 'f can't read."'

VVho is this who cannot read otherthanMuhammad (ffi)?

Allah says:

{Those who follow theMessenger, the Prophet whocan neither read nor writewhom they find written with

24

Page 26: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

them in the Torah and theGospel...) [7:157]

There are many prophecies inrelation to the prophethood ofProphet Muhammad (#) in theToratu we do not want to mention allthese passages; rather our goal is toencourage people to search for thetruth themselves.

2. |ohn 14:30 "I carrnot speak withyou mudr longer, because the rulerof this world is coming."

25

Page 27: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

\rVho is the 'ruler of this world'after Jesus except Muhammad (ffi)? The Message was sealed with him,and he was given the completeShari'ah which suits all times andplaces.

26

Page 28: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

3. The ]ews sent priests to him tofind out who he was. 'FIe confessed,"I am not the Christ." And th*yasked him, "\Alhat then? Are youElijah?" And He said: "I am not."Are you that Prophet?' And heanswered, "f{o"...And th*y said tohim: "\AIhy do you baptize then, ifyou are not the Christ, nor Elijah, northat Prophet?' flonn 1 :20-25).

'That Prophet' is not ]esus, butMuhammad (ffi), because lohn theBaptist continued preaching andbaptizing and foretelling the coming

27

Page 29: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

of that Prophe:t during the life-time of

]esus.

4. The Prophet |esus foretold thecoming of another Pyophef whosename would be 'Periqlytos' or'Paraclete' or 'Paracalon' and who(that is, whose teaching) would lastforever, 'I will pray the Father, andHe shall give you another Comforter(Periqlytos), that he may abide withyou forever.' $ohn XfV, 16).

The word'illustrious,'praiseworthy'

periqlytos means'renowned' andand this is exactly

28

Page 30: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

what the name 'Ahmed' means. It isconfirmed in the Qur'an that theProphet ]esus did prophesize that aProphet narned 'Ahmed' wouldcome after him.

AIIah, the Exalted, says:

{Rna remember when }esus theson of Mary, saidi "O Childrenof Israel! I am the Messenger ofAllah unto you, confinning theTorah which came before ffi€,and giving glad tidings of aMessenger to come after ffie, whose nlrme shall be Ahmed.)(61:6)

29

Page 31: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

5. In the gospels of John, Mark andMatthew it states:

'Even though I came first, I am notgood enough to untie his sandals.'

$otut L:27)

Iohur also told the people, "Afterme, one will come who is morepowerful than I am. I'm not goodenough to bend down and untie hissand.als." (Mark 1,:7)

This prophecy is not of ]esus (,ffi)for he was alive during the life ofIohn, th"y lived together, and wereof similar age.

Page 32: Muhammad in the Torah and Gospel

Finally, I call people to sflrdy andresearch, and I am sure if oneresearches while he leaves aside allprejudices and preconceivednotions, he will come to theconclusion that ttrere is no godworthy of being worshipped exceptAllah and that Muhammad is theMessenger of Allah.
