MUSIC VIDEO TREATMENTIntro/Set3 – The 1975

MUSIC IS FADING IN• When the music is fading in, I am going to have the clouds fading in and

speeding up. I am going to change the colour of the clouds so they are darker as these are the colours I see when listening to the music. This will be 23 seconds worth of clouds moving across the sky and speeding up with the music.

SECTION 1• ‘The skin that you’re in, is all soft now’• At this part, I was probably going to have a section from the gig that I am

going to (which actually features the band) and it was going to be from that but for it to fit with the music, it was probably going to be one of their slower songs that they play at the gig. As well as this, it will be breaking the fourth wall as we get the audience’s interpretation of the gig.

• ‘And your bones are dry as ice’• Introduction to the main protagonist walking a long the beach (hopefully,

I will go when the weather is cloudy with a slight breeze. Check weather and tide times). She will have her back to the camera as we follow her down the beach

SECTION 3• ‘What are you sitting round here for, why’s that?’Cut back to the gig and have more shots of the gig.

SECTION 4• ‘Cos everybody’s pushing out babies now’Back to the beach where she’s getting into the rhythm of the music

SECTION 5• Mini instrumental – as it gets slower, I was thinking that using shots from the gig,

I was going to slow them down so it fits with the music

SECTION 6 • ‘Cos everybody’s pushin’’ x2 ‘in the mornings I was getting high with you’

x2• This is the bit where the dancing from the main protagonist picks up.

SECTION 9• Instrumental to finish• Ending with a time lapse of the beach and the sea coming in or going out
