I want to tell you about

the American rock band

Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The group was founded

in 1983 by Anthony

Kiedis, Hillel Slovak,

Michael Balzari and Jack

Airons.

The band plays funk-rock

and alternative rock.

For the first time the group attracted attention while performing in club «Rhythm Lounge» with song «Out In LA».

After that the group won their first fans.

Later the band signed the contract with EMI.

The group received the international fame with their first album «The Red Hot Chili Peppers».

Now the band members are Anthony Kiedis, Chad Gaylord Smith, Michael Balzari and Josh Klinghoffer.

They work with the label Warner Bros. Records.

From 1984 to 2011 the band recorded 10 albums.

The most popular songs are «Californication», <<Snow>>, «Can't Stop».

In 2006 album «Stadium Arcadium» was awarded by the Grammy Awards.

Now the group is working hard on new albums.

The group are going

to perform in Moscow

with a concert on July

22, 2012.

This is a concert of

their world tour in

support of the tenth

album "I'm with You".
