MY SCHOOL MAGAZINE IDEAS

TITLE

I want the title of my school magazine to be “Titus salis”, this translates to Titus Salt from Latin but the name sounds like and would give it a more formal tone to the magazine with it being in Latin, this will reach further towards the planned audience of the Post-16.

BACKGROUND IMAGE

I plan for the background image to be of either a lesson being taught in the background or post-16 students studying in either the library or the room we use to study in, there will be around 3 people in the shot as too many will make the picture too crowded and so will lower the quality of the photo.

TEXT ON THE FRONT PAGE

I will have eye-catching text colour on the front page to make the reader want to read the stories inside of the magazine and will include the more important stories on the front of the magazine, the text size for all of the stories will need to be the same size and the title of the magazine will need to be around 72+ text size, this will be placed at the top of the magazine as that is the area people will look first when they see the picture and there will be a fill behind the title too to make it stand out even more.

TWO PAGE SPREAD

In the two page spread, I plan to have more pictures inside in boxes around where the text is, which will link to each of the stories inside the pages.
