Our homework was to go 'out into the world' and take around 10 photos related to our previous photos and artists. I went to the National History Museum as I knew I'd find many interesting textures to photograph there. These are a few of my photos:

Our homework was to go 'out into the world' and take around 10 photos related to our previous photos and artists. I went to the National History Museum as I knew I'd find many interesting textures to photograph there. These are a few of my photos:

In one of my collage pictures I saw crocodile skin, which is why I took these two.

Moving on from Crocodiles, I decided to look at Dinosaurs. (I thought this angle would be interesting to draw)

This seahorse relates to the "Horse Of Jewels". I edited the contrast to bring out the texture of its body.

Previously I had looked at fur in

art, like the fur cup

After looking at the fur cup, I had also looked at the work of <-Jana Sterbak and thought about how we use fur for clothes, and the fact that it is just as inhumane if we decided to wear the animal's meat as clothes. With this in mind, one of the pictures I took is of the inside of a dinosaur's leg.
