EXAMPLE OF PARAGRAPH

My hometown is famous for several amazing natural features. First, it noted for the weathon river, which is very wide and beautiful. Also, on the other side of the town is wheaton hill, which is unusual because it is very steep. The third amazing features is the Big Old Tree. This tree stand two hundred feet tall and is probably about six hundred years old. These three landmarks are trully amazing and make my hometown a famous place.

2.1 UNITY

The entire paragraph should concern itself with a single focus. If it begins with a one focus or major point of discussion, it should not end with another or wander within different ideas.

In other words, unity in writing is connection all ideas to a single topic.

Coherence is related to unity. Ideas that are arranged in a clear and logical way are coherent. The purpose of coherence is to make the readers can easily understand the main points.
