is because copyrights have a life time unlike plagiarism which is forever.

Steps to Avoid Copyright & Plagiarism

Put someone else’s words in quotations or add a footnote to clearly convey they are not your words.

Secondly keep your quotations down to a few sentences, and instead use their words to form your own ideas.
