On 15 October 2013 in Opole we signed the statement of collaboration, by which KRPUT

and CCISP agree to promote students and academic staff exchange, joint research

projects and double degree diploma.

On 7 April 2014 in Opole, the presidents and CEOsof Polish and Portuguese key energy companies,

representatives of science and goverments met to discuss possibilites of cooperation and creation

On August 1, 2014 in Opole, KRPUT Chairman, Prof. Taduesz Więckowski met with Prof. Lothar Kroll, CEO of the Cluster of Excellence MERGE.

Gentelmen discussed the BRIDGE International Conference as well as the German partnership in the Highwayof Technology Innovation Institute(Instytut Autostrada Technologii i Innowacyjności - IATI).

Highway of Technology Innovation Institute (IATI)is the consortium innitiativethat joins universities, research insituitesand enterprises.


It is the answerof the Polish scientificand economic milieu to the undertakings of the state strategic value.


Next year the BRIDGE Conference will bring together the representatives of internationaluniversites, research institutes, business and industry. Initially the event was supposed to integratePolish and German environments. Thanks to KRPUT and SRWUTU cooperation the conference will grow East!
