• See what we already know about dependent prepositions.
• Read and order a text.
• Write and say some sentences (focussing on the correct use of prepositions)
• Correct any errors, notice patterns, discuss your questions.

teacher so that it is correct.
• Which words are the prepositions dependent on.
E.g.:I am interested in learning English.I was shocked at your news.
Task 2 – dependent prepositions
• Complete the sentences on the sheet your teacher gives you.
• Compare your answers with you partner.
• Did you use the same prepositions?
Task 3 – Pair challenge
• Think of some words you use at work:
• Challenge your partner to make sentences using your word and a preposition.
