The magazine front cover has 6 different fonts and 16 different font sizes which may look unprofessional to some users, although it can also add an attractive side to the cover. Also it gets readers more attracted to certain articles

Even though Lily Allen is on the front cover to represent the music industry the fact that she's topless may give the wrong impression to some viewers

There are 8 layers in the cover

Its designed this way to attract attention but stay simple at the same time.

There's only one central image.

The predominant colours of the magazine are red, blue, black and white.

There is only one page for the contents which come in a on page 3 of the magazine.

The balance of imagery and copy are equal this is because the photos are large

The images have captions to show which article they are for in the magazine.

The contents is represented numerically

There are only two images on the contents page.

There is no advertisement on the contents page.

Also the contents doesn’t have a message from the editor.

Only 3 fonts re used but in 10 different font sizes and 3 font colours

This contents page represent the rock culture as there is a rock band as the main image. Aso there is a whole box dedicated to one band, (Oasis)

The layout is very professional as it is in a order and not all over the place. This makes it easier for readers to understand what's going on and where everything is in the magazine.

There are no pull-out quotes in this double page spread. So it is all text which is unattractive and looks very boring so readers may not want to read it.

The writer and photographer are not credited in this spread.

The English used is plain English

All articles have 3 columns on them so it is a recurring feature.

This article is very plain as there is limited colours. The picture is only black and white which is very plain and boring, losing the readers interest. The article is very blunt and boring but the “L”. Adds somelife to the article attracting an eye to the text.

We love pop is a pop music magazine for teenage girls aged 13-15. It is a monthly magazine, which has just come onto the market. It is published by Egmont publishers.

This magazine has been very popular since it first went onto the shelves.

There is a lot going on in this front cover. This is because there is a lot of writing and pictures. The craziness of the magazine is more attractive so the reader will want to have a look to see what's inside the magazine

There are 3 layers on the front cover of the magazine.

The mast head is simple yet attractive. It is simple because it is just the title in the speech box. But it represents that the magazine loves pop.

The central image is located underneath the mast head. And it is a picture of harry styles from one direction. This will attract the younger teenage audience as he is a teenager himself. It shows that he is a cheeky boy that always tries to get his way.

There are 8 articles signposted on the front cover. But they do not have a page number. These are there to attract readers to purchase the magazine for its content as there is a wide range inside.

There are 15 images in the contents page.

The imagery and the text are all balanced out as there is a lot of text and also a lot of images so neither overpowers the other.

The images have captions And also pull quotes from inside the magazine.

The layout of the page numbers are that some are in a text box but there are some around the page.

The layout shows that the audience is teenagers this is because the text is everywhere on the page and there is a lot of images. Also the contents shows that the magazine is fro girls as there are a lot of pictures of male celebrities.

Most of the double page spreads are of interviews of celebrities or the latest music and fashion trends.

In this spread there are large images which balance out the amount of text used.

The language used is a mixture as there are swear words, and slang but they are included in a professional way.

Throughout the magazine all of the articles use the same layout.
