Report a Course Content Issue Tool in Blackboard Learn

To report a course content issue in Learn, navigate to the Course Management area of the Course Menu and then within Course Tools, click on Report a Course Content Issue.
Examples of Issues to Report • Quiz/test question error • Quiz/test question
replacement • Error in assignment
instructions • Confusing assignment • Incorrect points in grade book • Hyperlinks that don’t work • Reading assignment not
aligned

Major course issues should be reported directly to Department Chairs (not through the Report tool). Examples include course- or curriculum-level issues and major changes to assessments. If you are unsure of the Department Chair for your program, click on the live Department Chair link for a current listing.

Whenever possible, select the specific location of the issue you are reporting from the dropdown menu under Content Item Selection. If the issue is not specific to one page, select “General Course Feedback” from the menu.

Type your detailed comments in the Feedback field. If needed, you can attach a file to support your feedback. When you are finished, review your request and click Submit in the bottom right-hand corner of this screen. This information will be sent directly to the instructional designers who address course revisions.
Attaching screenshots of course related issues is helpful when reporting an issue!

• You will receive an email notification with an incident number and the details of your request. If you have any questions regarding your request, you can use the incident number to follow up with the Personal Support Center at any time.
• You will receive another email notification when your request has been resolved. Please be sure to review the notification thoroughly, as it will contain important information regarding the resolution.
