Bengal Tiger lives in Southern Asia. It is most

numerous in the mangrove forests of the Sundarbans in the eastern India and Bangladesh. Tigers as top-of-the-food chain predators, help populations by keeping prey populations in check. When a tiger has eaten it’s fill, the abandoned prey becomes food for a variety of mammals, birds, and reptiles. It keeps populations of sambir deer and wild boar down. Some cultures believe that powdered tiger bones have medical values.

They are currently found in some Asian range states- Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, Russia, Thailand etc. They may still persist in North Korea, although there has been no recent confirmed evidence.
