Image Progression

Main Image

I enlarged the original image to make it fit the front cover of the magazine.

Logo

I created my logo in PowerPoint and put it on my front cover. I placed it in the top right hand corner of the magazine so that the main image was not obscured.

Main Image

To make room for my main coverline, I moved my image down and cropped part of the background to fill in the blank space.

Strapline

I created a strapline in PowerPoint and positioned it at the top of the magazine, stretching across the top. I moved the logo and main image further down the page so that nothing was covered by it.

Main Coverline

I have changed the font style and size of the coverline so that it is easier to read.

Graphic Features

I added a graphic feature using the buzzword exclusive which I created in PowerPoint

Coverline

I added my coverlines and placed them around my main image so that they created a border but did not cover the image. They are white to fit the colour scheme I have used of navy, white and purple/pink

Date Issue no. Website

I added the date, issue number and website underneath the main coverline in a small text.

Main Image

I adjusted the position of my main image and moved it slightly to the right to make room for the coverlines. I also repositioned the coverlines so that they are now more easier to read.

Barcode and Price

I added a barcode and price in the bottom, right hand corner of my magazine. I used the polygon lasso tool to cut out my barcode.
