DESCRIPTION

A Cause for Auction! Here is your chance to own a piece of history, gain a tax deduction, and make a difference in the world—all at the same time. I am donating my collection of rare books, signed first editions, first editions, and autographs of documents of presidents, authors, scientists and other world changers to support the work of the Center for Global Initiatives via on-line silent auction. How it works: Take a look at what’s available and email the name of the item and your bid to [email protected]. It will be logged and you’ll get a confirmation. If another bid comes in that’s higher than yours, you’ll be notified also. Auction ends: 15 December at 10 PM Central time. Winning bidders will be notified on the 16th. Payment: Winning bidders will have 24 hours to submit payment securely via PayPal/credit card. Shipping and Handling is a flat rate of $10, per book or multiples of documents, and will be sent Priority Mail upon confirmation of funds. View the collection at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/40172469@N04/sets/72157637675108265/ Read what’s available here. Of course you can always make a donation anytime as well at: http://centerforglobalinitiatives.org/donateNow.cfm Please Note: I am very much the amateur collector. My classifications are what I think is most appropriate, as a non-expert. The Estimated Value is what I can best determine the item to be worth. You may bid higher or lower than that amount. Highest bid gets it, unless it is too low. We reserve the option to not sell an item if this is the case. As for provenance, most all of my collection is based on my personal contact with the person/author. I have been very fortunate, in a Forest Gump-ian way, to have met and/or worked with some pretty cool folks—R. Buckminster Fuller, Oprah Winfrey, Mehmet Oz, TED Founder Richard Saul Wurman, Jonas Salk, Steve Jay Gould, and others… Have fun, good luck, and thanks for your support! Cheers, Chris

Read what’s available at: http://www.slideshare.net/drchrisstout1/stout-collection-web-version

Of course you can always make a donation anytime as well at: http://centerforglobalinitiatives.org/donateNow.cfm

Please Note:I am very much the amateur collector.

Have fun, good luck, and thanks for your support!

Cheers,

Chris
