NAMES FOR MY MAGAZINE

REWIND – This is a reference to classic music, which you could rewind and fast forward. This shows that the magazine would be quite classic.

on in it.

.

FONT FOR THE NAME

I have used these two fonts for my title. This is due to the top one looking very modern and musical. As well as the bottom font looking very urban but also quite 1990s type font, it looks very cosmos and post modern.

CONTENT

On the front cover of my magazine, items that are likely to be advertised to be inside the magazine may include:Item Example

Interview/Day in the life of/secrets revealed .

Find out the real relationship between Liam and Noel.

Returning artist. Return of Genesis.

New album. 100 albums you need this year.

Reviews/Albums/Gigs.

Arctic Monkeys on tour

New upcoming artists.

All there is to know about the new King Charles

I would use the rule of three or short snappy phrases a lot through my magazine or also puns to get points across. This is included In the layout and language. For example:

CONTENTS PAGE

My contents would follow the conventional pages which I have researched. With separators between important pages. The artists images would also be around the out side of the contents. With larger numbers to make the pages stand out which are of importance.

There would also be a mast head at the top of the pages, and the house style would be the same through out all of my pages.

DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD

The spread would be laid out similar to these:

The artist would dominate one side of the spread. Hopefully the right side. I chose the right side as its conventional as most of the magazines are on the right side. I will also split the interview into 3 sections keeping with the rule of 3.A large headline on the top of the spread, along with some stand firsts and pull quotes.

My spread would include an interview with a famous artist who is releasing a greatest hits album. The artist would have been famous for around a 10 year time span and will have recently released a new album featuring 15 greatest hits. The interview would include questions from his past musical career and also about the release of his new album.

The artist I would interview would be the main singer in a pop/rock influential band. The type of style of the band would be a mix of a style between Blur, and the Killers. Two British bands. But also the influence of Thirty Seconds to Mars.
