Presentation IdeasUnfortunately the videos wouldnt work on here, but a few

different bits of software to present ideas with:

First is Sparkol Videoscibe a really useful software to animate your

presentations easy to use and very effective

Prezi is another type of software, I found it quite hard to understand

but it does look good when done properly!

Animate is similar to Videoscribe, I haven't used it myself but been

recommended it,

Also Zoho docs is meant to be another good way to present!

Thought it was valuable to highlight, teachers mindset to using ICT and technology.

Why are we really doing it?

iPhones/iPads Features

Iphone features and apps are different things, apps

you use on a device, features are inbuilt, in the picture created by tagul you can see all ipad/

phone features how can you use these in a day to day lesson?

Positives & Negatives…There are a number of positive and negatives

around using technology.

But to highlight that children will use there phones whether we want them to or not.

Using ground rules can we allow them to incorporate

phones into lessons and to help them continue learning?

Also consider ground rules to safe guard yourself and

others when using technology.

Social Media Bit of a grey area for some,

I posted on twitter to ask about my presentation and I had 50 or so responses with different things to use apps, technology etc. Really

good to continue learning and communicate with other teachers.

Instegram/Pintrest great ways to find inspiration and ideas for a number of

things!

Tumbler is a blogging app making it easy for to blog and write.

AppsSome ideas for apps:

Socrative is a platform to allow teachers and pupils to engage and connect outside the class room in a safe environment sending lesson plans, homework questions etc!

Bust a move is a mirrored video delay great for PE! Set it up and it will

display a live time lapse pupils can view/

Ubersense a simple video analysis software very useful for performance

analysis and peer to peer assessment.

Pow Strip designer is an easy app to use for comic book strip design!

QR codes (bottom right) You can embed info to a code that can be

scanned by a phone/ipad that will link student directly to the info/website/resources

Keep vid – Dowload youtube videos REALLY USEFUL then put them in a presentation instead of needing the

internet!

Anatomy bundle – one of a few apps for free that goes into great detail of

the body be really useful for biology/PE instead of using a text

book!
