The deadly Wolves

Description

Wolves use their fur to keep them warm from the cold. Their fur color depends on

what kind of wolf they are.

Habitat

Wolves used to live in all of North America. Now they live in the north of Canada, Asia, northern Europe and Eastern Europe. Some Red Wolves live in Mexico.

Food

Wolves eat snacks such as grasshoppers and berries. Wolves can’t chase Elks one by one because the Elk runs too fast so they have to hunt in packs. Wolves eat furry and non furry animals.

Babies

Babies stay in the den. Baby wolves are born in Spring. When they are three week old, they come out to play. Babies can walk after two weeks.

• Bears kill wolf cubs when young. People are also predators.

Each day the wolf brings food for it’s mate. Wolves and foxes are related. There may be only 1,000 wolves left. Wolves communicate by howling.
