Rudolf Frimls: Wrote The Vagabond King. Wrote many original Shows, but The Vagabond King, was the one that became a world-wide hit.

Richard Rodgers
Richard Rodgers: A Columbia Graduate, that was a professional lyricist by the time he was 17. Worked with Harts to create Dearest Enemy and a number of other shows before Harts succumbed to drinking, and Rodgers teamed up with Hammerstein to write many timeless musicals.

Jerome Kern: First to turn Musical Comedy into an art form. Collaborating with Oscar Hammerstein, he created the epics Showboat and Sunny. Kern’s music had timeless appeal.

Marilyn Miller: Perhaps the most famous performer of the time period. Her most successful show being Ziegfeld’s, Sally, she had a career of only being in eleven other shows, but was still the most beloved stage performer of the decade.
