The importance of Creative Writing and the use of Tutors A lot of children have trouble with Creative Writing; it's a most difficult subject to master, yet an ability to write well is certainly vital for exams at some point. Parents from each one of these schools invest heavily in out-of-hours tuition, and I see most of them in consultation . And there is one universal problem: Creative Writing . It's one of the greatest reasons for stress. Parents say that their children 'take a very long time to write', or 'have a lot of good ideas, but cannot write.' It always disheartens me to meet kids who have been under a constrained schedule with huge amount of homework, - sometimes reviewed by their parents, - and are very fed up with it all . And well they could be. Their 'creative writing' is unexciting, and dull. They cannot produce the quantity desired in the time, and are unable to structure an essay. I am normally asked what could be done. Motivation and desire is extremely important. Kids should be enthusiastic and self-confident in their ability to talk, and also to examine their vocabulary. Their word control has to be sufficiently strong to support their task, and give them a selection of vocabulary. This matter calls for imaginative strategy. Art is vital. Even without such technical expertise, there's so much parents can do at home to support their kids, and it's never too soon to begin: Inspire kids to enjoy making use of the library, and continue attending it. Draw along with your child; discuss your sketches, using adjectives to widen thought and guide your child in mastering brand new vocabulary. Write the adjectives, sentences and also stories on the paper, after that stimulate your child to try and do the writing. Work on a sheet of A4 in three, separate written paragraphs.
