Two tools I found most valuable for interaction are Email which is

asynchronous and Skype which is synchronous.

• . These tools are very important in interaction because for one they provide communication between persons in different parts of the world and again they give many e-learning opportunities to both e-learners and their teachers.

• It is an asynchronous tools of e-learning, it supports work related learning.

• Even when participants are not online at the same time they can take advantage of this interaction tool.

• In other words using the email e-learners are flexible in their everyday activities.

• In fact many people take online courses because of their asynchronous nature.

• It is possible for learners to logon an e-learning environment at any time and download documents or send messages using email.

• It is a synchronous interaction tool like the email it also gives e-learners many opportunities for interaction. The skype enables e-learners to chat and to do videoconferencing.

• It has the potential to support e-learners in the development of learning communities.

• Skype gives learners and teachers an opportunity to interact In a real life situation.

• Learners and teachers experience synchronous e-learning as more social and avoid frustration by asking and answering questions in real time.

• Skype sessions help e-learners feel like participants rather than isolates.

• Both Email (asynch) and Skype (synch) have their advantages and disadvantages but what is of great importance is the many opportunities they both provide to e-learners.
