It’s time to flower-up. Having appeared on a whole host of

catwalks, we’re calling floral as the print of the season.

The dominant motif of the Spring season was a tropical floral.

Say good-bye to the stiff power suit. The new tailoring emphasized fluid

lines, softer fabrics, longer jackets, and looser pants.

MID-CENTURY MODERN

The look of the fifties—and, to a slightly lesser extent, the forties—

influenced the collections in Milan and Paris this season with the high

waists and spread collars of fifties casualwear but updated them with

painted-on details.

BLUE PERIOD

The color of the season, full gradient of blue tones, raw indigo blue, engineering prints.
