DESCRIPTION
Comenius project: true or false friends IES El Caminas in Belgium.New media (Facebook, Skype, Youtube, Twitter, games, smartphones with apps, MSN,...) play an important part in the daily lives of many people. The aim of this project is to check what the advantages and disadvantages are of the use of these new media, especially in education. Of course we all know the advantages (true friend) of comfort and fun. But a lot of these new media can be used to learn something in an easy and agreeable way like: making a tutorial movie for Youtube, making an educational game, using social networks to find a new job, using Facebook to communicate with teachers and other students around schooltasks, putting your European CV on the web, discovering intercultural differences by comparing mobile and e-mail language and abbreviations, etc... ( A lot of these things mentioned here are end products for our project).
