The Anatomy of a Good Post
Remember: Tumblr is a community, and a place for creative, informative content. You must be prepared to be an enthusiastic participant. Example of content that does well: gorgeous photography, infographics and archival material that is relevant to your subject area. Certain institutional updates are more appropriate for your primary website.
Does Tumblr make sense for my department?
1) Allows you to connect with enthusiastic, niche communities. 2) Provides a good frame for thinking about how to produce good content.
