Tell me who you are

Don’t ask obvious questions.

“Hi! I’m David. I’m tall. How about you?”

“My name is Nancy, and I usually eat my lunch at noon. Do you also do that?”

“I’m Joey and I’m a handsome boy. Are you?”

Page 5: Welcome To Math III

Be creative!

“I’m Drew and I have a pet parrot named Barry. I think birds are great. Do you have any pets

of your own?”

“I’m Regina and I don’t have a boyfriend at the moment. Are you single as well, or are you in

a relationship?

Mental Discipline

There are some problems throughout the course that would require you to answer without using pen and paper.

Page 40: Welcome To Math III

Curiosity HiveEach student gets a buzz bug at the start of the class. Once they are able to participate in class, it will be returned to the hive. Anyone who still has a buzz bug after the class will have a task.

Page 41: Welcome To Math III

Mathematician of the Week

One student will be tasked to creatively present a problem and its solution to the class every Friday of the week.

Page 42: Welcome To Math III

Geometry Badges

You could earn these badges by doing certain tasks. These could be converted into points to be added into long quizzes.

Page 43: Welcome To Math III

100th benchmarkingThe scores for the homework will be summarized at the back of the notebook.

Every 100th cumulative score earns you a badge.

Wisdom

What good is mathematics?

In an immature state, NONE!

If nurtured and developed properly, there is no limitation.

Ben Franklin was once asked what good a new invention was,

he responded:“What good is a newborn baby?”
