Eight Industries LLC is a Contracting firm in meeting HAZOP recommended field installations with explosion proof panels, containment, special requirement cables & terminations to meet NFPA requirements and complying with latest industrial standards & regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

My role is to handle a team of technical staffs for all electrical related activities on fuel oil system.

Trained engineer to control installation activities specified for confined spaces, attending workshops with

the clients on documentation, product data submission raising inspections thereby leading key role as a

team player in all site related electrical activities. 

Coordinating with sub contractors and supervising technical staffs in site installation.

Coordinating with the draftsman’s, supervisors, safety staffs and planning the work ahead

Preparation and conducting all site inspections.

Preparation of work reports, comment reply sheets.

Preparation of drawings, MTO, work estimation, man hour allocation and work reports.

1. Al Mafraq Hospital Fuel Oil System Project – (2013 –Expected Nov 2015 completion)

Client: Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada)/ (SEHA)

The MEP scope of work includes the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of fuel oil system automation,

external utilities and infrastructure works. Electrical work includes electrification of substation buildings day tanks, cable and

containment works, external electrification works, leak detection, cathodic protection impressed current system, alarm sensors,

pump room electrification work and electrification for wet areas and explosion zone 1 &2 areas using special cables and

containment's as per area classification.

2. Shah Gas Development (SGD) Package 2 Fuel Station Project (2014 to 20th June 2015)

Client: Al Hosn Gas Company

The work included electrification of fuel station building, STP, sensors, MI cable installation works.

Previous Experience (2011 - 2012)

Duties and responsibilities

Responsible for tendering, liaising with electrical contractors for the installation and commissioning of

high rise buildings/ apartments/ hospital projects/ nursing schools/colleges, coordinating with electrical

contractors and closely monitoring the project progress, providing necessary modifications in engineering

designs, connected loads, site installations.

1. Responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable completion of the project and handing within the

allowed time period. 

2. The tendering and negotiation with electrical contractors. Maintenance works, load calculations &

regularization for additional equipment's fault detection and rectification.

Time Period RoleJun’09-Dec’10 Electrical Engineer with M/s. Sivaram Electricals, Kerala, India.

Duties and responsibilities Electrification of hospital buildings which include installation testing and commissioning of

Transformers, DG sets, Switch Gears, MV panel boards, HT/LT armored cable laying and termination,

earth installation and testing, pump panels for sewage treatment plants. Electrical design and load

regularization for the live projects have been successfully completion during my tenure.

1. M/s.SUT Royal Hospital Electrification Work (2009-‘10) Load regularization and electrical modification work for the entire hospital including OT rooms, special equipment's, wards, STP, chillers plant, MV panels, Transformer and DG sets, lighting and earth works.

M/s SUT Medical College TVM (2009-‘10) New Transformer and DG set installation, Substation with MV panels. Capacitor Banks, MV Panels, DB's.

2. M/s Malayala Manorama Press Unit (established in 1890) – (2009-‘10)Load regularization for the additional printing machine, MV panels allied switch gears, earthing and exterior landscape and building electrification work.
