engineering plast ic combinesgood mechanical st rength, st if fness, impact st rength,chemical resistance, dimensional stabilit y and f rict ion andwear propert ies with an excellent machinabilit y. Thecomposit ions of the resins used for the product ion of theAcet ron LSG stock shapes comply with the regulat ions thatapply in the Member States of the European Union (Direct ive2002/72/EC, as amended) and in the United States of America(FDA) for plast ic materials and art icles intended to come intocontact with foodstuf f s. Acet ron LSG stock shapes have alsobeen successfully t ype tested for their compliance with ISO10993-1 guideline requirements for Biocompat ibilit y Test ing ofMaterials, and they come with full t raceabilit y f rom resin tostock shape.
