BRIDGING THE GAPCreating EmployabilityNAVEEN RAUTHAN

Engineering is the science, skill, and profession of acquiring and applying scientific, economic, social, and practical knowledge, in order to design and also build structures, machines, devices, systems, materials and processes,The use of math and science to solve problems

WHAT IS ENGINEERING ?

An Engineer is someone who build structures, produce parts, assemble products, and solve problems.

WHAT IS AN ENGINEER?

Issues/ProblemsTechnical SkillsSoft Skills

Full knowledge is necessary about any appropriate field Practical knowledge is necessary..It is great challenge to motivate and attract to serious learningThe assignment given quite often are routine and do not involve any research or innovation. The evaluation system and the continuous evaluation process are not being understood by the student and also by the faculty member thus they are applied in a routine manner and the student concentrate only on grades and not on learning..

Work on your weak point.Have some proper routineAlways have some goal . Always think positive ,negative make you a failure.

It is more of content than knowledge deliveryThe evaluation system has not been robust enough to find out the knowledge of the students.

What student are learning in there degree First year-First time in college so what student do explore college then he think that they have struggled in school time so take some time for fun .Everybody have the course same dont know how to differentiate there degree with other branch and no guidance how subject help them in future ,so they complete full year in without any thinking. Second year Now they have subject according to there stream and they start scanning book without any practical imagination . Sad part is that thy do not found any creativity in engineering so they start smoking ,drinking and drugs for fun because they will know before one day exam they will study and pass. Third year In this year they will spent there time by seeing movie ,playing game, and spent time with girlfriend and engineering is out of focus because they found nothing in engineering ,nobody guided them Creativity ,innovation ,Industrial revolution ,how engineer work, how engineer think and what is meaning of engineering. Fourth year- In this year they think they have dove done nothing in three year ,what can they do now so they start focus on placement and some student get placement and some go for government preparation.

Parent are thinking my son is doing hard work in college and will get a good job, but they dont know they already take degree in smoking ,drinking and drugs.

COLLEGES REALITY

Engineering is the beauty that bridges the gap between theory and practical application. Being a better engineer means being creative, innovative and always thinking out of the box. The ability to think out of the box. The world is full of engineering graduates but what would make you different is the ability to provide a diverse solution. Develop a critical thinking attitude.Explore new ideas. Get your basics right. you need to have all your bases covered.Enjoy what you read and try to understand why something works the way it does.Read. Read and Read. but along with that also apply what you read. knowing the working of an IC engine amounts to nothing if you cant actually open and identify one. engineering is all about practical application. Work as much as you can.

Solution --- Going the SMART Way

Implementing the SMART Way

"The moment you realize that everything in the world around you was built by people who were no smarter than you, you become an element of change yourself...you can change anything"
