What We Did 11 SWE members from the University of Michigan traveled to India for 2 weeks Planned and conducted 4-day STEM summer camp 4. Our Partners in India UM Alumni Walchandnagar Industries Limited Bharat Childrens Academy 82 Students Total 41 girls, 41 boys 5. What We Accomplished Spent 2 weeks in India Mumbai Delhi/Agra Walchandnagar Cultural experiences STEM-based summer camp US Consulate and collegiate students Taj Mahal and other historic sights 6. Summer Camp Programming Four sessions Two activities each day Topics included: Circuits Renewable Energy Iterative Processes Design-Build-Test Method Newtons Laws of Motion Meetings with teachers each afternoon 7. SWEs Mission Stimulate women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity.
