A main element of differentiation between this athletic drink from others, is the fact that this brand is the official sponsor of the Olympic games.

GOAL

-To Create a 30 second spot that includes all brand elements, such as; inspiration, persistence, and athletic achievement. All of this, by also making emphasis on the ownership of the event.

THE COMMERCIAL The commercial takes place in a empty court. A young boy is located at the bottom of a hoop. He slowly starts bouncing the ball, and slowly starts walking forward.

Voiceover starts.

As the camera moves backwards facing the young boy in a very smooth motion, clips of the boy training will intercut with the dolly movement. These clips will consist of tight images of the same kid doing different kinds of basketball related exercises.

Then we go back to the original shot. The camera is still moving backwards, and we encounter the same kid who is now a couple years older. He starts to increase the pace little by little and is still moving towards the other end of the court.

He will be using the same outfit so it´s clear to the viewer it´s the same kid, but older. As this happens, we also start to hear a crowed in the background.

Once more, images of the 17 year old training will intercut with the main shot.

Back to the original shot, but now the boy is older and he´s dribbling forward while the camera is still moving backwards. Once the man is close enough to the opposite hoop, he stops and gets ready to take a shot.

By this time the crowd in the background has gotten much louder and the camera stays still on the player.

The player raises his arms to take a shot, closes his eyes , and a third intercut of images of the player at all ages practicing is displayed.

the player opens his eyes, and we realize were back to the first character. The camera is still facing him. He makes the shot , but we hear it rather than see it.

Once he openes his eyes, everything is silent.

the player remains still while the camera keeps moving backwards. This will provide the viewer a better exposure of the gym. This is when we realize it was all a vision, and the player is by himself practicing.

As we get a wider perspective of the gym, we encounter a table to the side that has powerades on it.

The young boy moves to the table, grabs a powerade and takes a sip. He then places the powerade back on the table.

Once the young boy places the powerade back on the table, the camera moves in a smooth motion towards the table, it then moves in an upward motion above the bottles giving a bird’s eye view of the bottles.

The camera descends towards the bottles in a bird’s eye view, and stops once it reaches a certain height that is similar to the logo of the Olympic rings.

The Voiceover ends.
