Using the name of the song – Come Closer

The song title itself 'Come Closer' indicates the longing for someone who the singer cannot have.

In order to portray this want/need seemed difficult to do as we cannot display a state of being.

However we came to a conclusion and decided that this longing can only be seen in the singers mind/thoughts.

Love Story

Therefore this lead us to the concept/plot of our video, which in a way can be described as a love story.

This love story will begin with the stereotypical 'love at first sight' meeting.

Lust at first sight

After this connection is made the singer will not be able to concentrate on what he is supposed to be doing but rather imagines his dream girl in his thoughts.

He will go on with his daily life and film the video for his latest song and all the while be thinking about the girl he has just met.

In order to show this we will use short clips that alternate quickly between fantasy and reality.

The girl that the singer will imagine will have the stereotypical appearance of an attractive femme fetal; this will include her wearing red nail varnish and lipstick etc.

Back to the lyrics – ‘You’re a million miles away.’

However, unfortunately for the singer, the girl will continue on with her daily life.

She will even see his album whilst shopping but does not think twice about it and walks away.

This relates to the lyric - 'You're a million miles away.' This is the concept that the girl is out of reach and therefore can only be seen in his imagination.
