When Suffrockgettes asked for some
opinion via social media to the question,
‘Who is the greatest female musician of
all time?’
No two answers were the same. So now
we’re asking YOU for your thoughts…
The English singer-songwriter
had several hits during the 80s
and 90s, including the massive
Christmas song Fairytale of
New York with The Pogues.
She died in a freak accident
back in 2000 but her legacy
continues.
Is she your choice for greatest

Multi-instrumentalist PJ Harvey has been
performing since the late 80s.
As well as being a Mercury Prize Winner
twice – the only artist to achieve this –
she was also awarded an MBE for
services to music in 2013.

globe. Whilst her latest

game in PR.

Every decade has brought a new
version of the superstar to the
forefront. Reinvention has certainly
been Madonna’s forte.
CNN has called her ‘arguably the
most influential female recording artist
of all time.’ She’s also topped VH1s
‘100 Greatest Women in Music’ poll in
the past.
