• GRA (Green Restaurant Association) establishes that Green Restaurants have to satisfy some aspects.

• In this website you can find the list of the certificated green restaurants in Chicago.

• The “Uncommonground” is one of the most famous green restaurants.

2. Water: water efficiency

3. Waste: zero-waste is the objective (reducing and recycling)

4. Disposables: bio-based materials or recycled materials

(polystyrene foam is not allowed)

Rated

The restaurants get the Green Certification if they accumulate a total of 100 points (with a minimum points in each category)

They must have a full-scale recycling and an annual education program.
