Main Street, USA Attractions

Main Street Vehicles These vehicles provide one-way transportation between Town Square and Cinderella’s Castle.

Walt Disney World Railroad Length: 20 minutes. This train ride takes you around the perimeter of the park. Stops are located at Frontierland and Main Street, USA.

Dream Along With Mickey Length: 20 minutes. Join Mickey and friends in a live stage show outside of Cinderella’s Castle. The show performs several times a day.

Adventureland Attractions

Pirates of the Caribbean Length: 10 minutes. This indoor boat ride takes you on a tour of various pirate adventures, and it is one of the signature rides in the Magic Kingdom. Recently updated to include Captain Jack Sparrow. Might scare small children.

Jungle Cruise FPLength: 10 minutes. Take a cruise down a Disney-made river touring locales spanning four different continents. The family-friendly humor provided by the live tour guide can either come off as charming or cheesy.

Swiss Family Treehouse Step right into a life-sized recreation of the treehouse from Swiss Family Robinson. This attraction features a lot of breathtaking detail, and a lot of stairs. If your legs are tired, steer clear.

The Enchanted Tiki Room Length: 10 minutes. Recently re-renovated to restore the original show that opened with the Magic Kingdom in 1971, this show features dozens of animatronic tropical birds singing songs that range from entertaining to down-right annoying.

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin Length: 1.5 minutes. Similar to Dumbo the Flying Elephant, this ride features Magic Carpets flying around a large Genie lamp, with camels that spray water into the flight-path of the carpets. Great ride for kids!

Shrunken Ned’s Junior Jungle BoatsDrive remote control boats through a unique jungle course. Extra fee applies: $1.00 for two minutes.

Adventureland Dining

Frontierland Attractions

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad FPHeight Restriction: 40”. Length: 4 minutes. This gold-mine themed roller coaster is not too intimidating, so it’s perfect for riders who don’t like their rides to be overly intense. This ride is popular, and the long lines provide little relief from the heat, so Fastpass is a good idea for this ride.

Splash Mountain FPHeight Restriction: 40”. Length: 11 minutes. This log-flume ride takes guests through the story of Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, and Brer Bear. This ride features charming animatronics and songs, as well as some drops that may get you wet. The signature final drop of 52 feet is a definite thrill. Tip: Sit on the left side in the back of the log flume for the driest ride.

Country Bear Jamboree Length: 17 minutes. This animatronic show features the Country Bears singing a variety of classic songs. This show is definitely aimed at children, as it can be a bit cheesy for older viewers.

Tom Sawyer Island Journey by raft to Tom Sawyer Island, where you are free to explore the caves, trails, and bridges. There are also sitting areas where parents can rest while children play about the island.

Frontierland Shootin Arcade Take aim at this arcade shooting range. This attraction would earn a higher rating, but an extra fee applies, so steer clear unless you really are itching for some arcade shooting.

Liberty Square Attractions

The Hall Of Presidents Length: 23 minutes. This educational and entertaining show features all of Presidents in the history of the United States presented in lifelike detail by animatronic figures. Narrated by Morgan Freeman, this show features George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Barack Obama as speaking Presidents. Tip: This attraction is air-conditioned, so it’s a great place to beat the heat for 20 minutes.

The Haunted Mansion Length: 9 minutes. Riders load into “Doom Buggies,” where they are taken through a tour of the Haunted Mansion. The tone of this ride is more goofy and spooky rather than scary. Recent updates to the queue and the final portion of the attraction make this ride more interactive. Tip: When you enter the “stretch room” at the beginning of the ride, stand on the side closest to the fireplace, as the exit is always adjacent to that.

Liberty Belle Riverboat Length: 20 minutes. This riverboat ride takes you on a three level paddleboat around Tom Sawyer Island. This ride is a good way to relax on a crowded afternoon. This attraction is open seasonally, and closes at dark.

Fantasyland AttractionsThe Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

FPLength: 3 minutes. Travel in giant honey pot vehicles through the Hundred Acre Wood. This ride features Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and all of their friends. Tip: This ride is very popular, so use a Fastpass.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic FPLength: 12 minutes. Join Donald Duck on this 3-D animated musical extravaganza. This show, featuring classic songs from Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, and The LIttle Mermaide, is sure to be a hit with the kids.

Dumbo The Flying Elephant Length: 2 minutes. This classic Disney World ride features flying elephants that can seat two passengers that go in a circle to music. The passengers can control the height of their elephant during flight. This ride is extremely popular with small children, and lines can be long.

it’s a small world Length: 2 minutes. Another classic Disney attraction, this leisurely boat ride takes you through different vistas featuring the children of the cultures of the world. With a great message and a catchy song, this is a great ride for kids and parents alike.

Mad Tea Party Length: 2 minutes. Get ready to spin! Guests sit in spinning tea cups, which feature control over how fast you spin. If you get dizzy easily, steer clear of this party!

Peter Pan’s Flight FPLength: 3 minutes. Board a flying pirate ship and travel through Neverland and the story of Peter Pan in this ride.

Snow White’s Scary Adventures Length: 3 minutes. Visitors to this attraction travel in mine carts through a retelling of the story of Snow White. This ride may scare small children.

Prince Charming Regal Carrousel Length: 2 minutes. Located in the middle of Fantasyland, this carousel is a great ride for small children.

Tomorrowland Attractions

Space Mountain FPHeight Restriction: 44”. Length: 3 minutes. This roller coaster is one of the most popular rides in the Magic Kingdom, and for good reason. Riders board single-file rocket ships that propel them through this roller coaster that takes place in complete darkness. Tip: Sit in the front for a more intense ride.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin FP

Length: 5 minutes. Rack up some points and help Buzz Lightyear defeat Zurg! Visitors board spinnable vehicles, in which they shoot their lasers at targets for points. Tip: You can hold down the button to shoot your laser continuously. Tip: Aim for the large volcano in the main room for 25,000 points.

Stitch’s Great Escape FPHeight Restriction: 35”. Length: 15 minutes. Guests step into a training session as a guards where a “level three prisoner,” aka Stitch, has escaped. This attraction features Stitch performing childish antics while guests sit in a circular theatre. This ride may scare small children.

Tomorrowland Indy Speedway Length: 4 minutes. Guests have a chance to race “Indy Cars” around a railed track. While everyone can ride, the driver must be at least 52”. This ride gives guests too young for a license a safe chance to take the wheel of a car.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover

Length: 10 Minutes. Guests board four person vehicles that give a tour around Tomorrowland. This slow-moving ride is a great place to take a break, and it also gives some unique views of the park.

Astro Orbiter Length: 2 minutes. This ride is similar to Dumbo the Flying Elephant, but it has some unique twists. Visitors must travel up an elevator to reach the top of the building in order to board the jets, which fly in a circular pattern.

Carousel of Progress Length: 22 minutes. This show follows a family from the early 1900s to “the future” to illustrate the progress of technology and how it impacts our lives. Open Seasonally.

Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor Length: 10 minutes. Come join Mike Wazowski as he tries to save the city of Monstropolis with your laughter. This is an interactive comedy show for the whole family. You can even be part of the show by submitting a joke via text message.

Future World Attractions - Part 1Spaceship Earth Length: 15 minutes. Inside the Spaceship Earth geodesic dome, riders board vehicles that take them through a leisurely tour of the history of the innovation and inventions of man. This ride is informational and entertaining. Plus, it’s a great way to cool off on a hot day.

Test Track FPLength: 6 minutes. Get a sneak peak behind the scenes of an automotive testing facility. Passengers ride in cars that go through the paces of testing, including hairpin turns, brake tests, and a thrilling outdoor ride reaching speeds over 60 MPH. A must ride. Tip: This ride features Single Rider, which will let you ride for a fraction of the wait, but separate from your party.

Ellen’s Energy Adventure Length: 45 minutes. Join Ellen DeGeneres and Bill Nye the Science Guy in this charming educational show that combines videos, animatronics, and voice-overs to inform guests about the energy we use today and where it comes from.

Mission Space FPLength: 6 minutes. Experience G-Forces and the sensation of being weightless in this simulated mission to Mars. This ride can be very intense, but the milder “Green Team” version of the ride that does not feature strong spinning. Tip: Use Single Rider to avoid long lines.

Captain EO starring Michael Jackson

Length: 20 minutes. The classic 3-D musical spectacular is back! Directed by Francis Ford Coppola, produced by George Lucas, and starring the King of Pop, this show follows the adventures of Captain EO and his crew on his spaceship.

Journey Into Imagination With Figment

Length: 12 minutes. Ride with Figment through the senses of sight, smell, and sound as he and Dr. Channing explore the world of Imagination. This colorful ride is great for kids.

ImageWorks Presented by Kodak, the “What If” labs at ImageWorks gives hands-on games and interactive demonstrations for the imagination.

Living With The Land Length: 15 minutes. Boats take guests through both animatronic depictions of the history of agriculture and farming and actual greenhouses that provide food to Epcot restaurants.

The Circle of Life Length: 13 Minutes. Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa join forces to protect the environment in this short film.

Soarin’ FPLength: 5 minutes. Take to the skies in this exhilarating and breathtaking flight simulation. Guests board a unique seating device that lifts them up in the air toward a giant IMAX-like screen, which depicts beautiful scenery of California. Tip: Lines can be very long here, so Fastpasses are a must.

Future World Attractions - Part 2The Seas With Nemo and Friends This attraction features many exhibits, an aquarium, and a ride all themed around aquatic life. The main ride by the same name has guests board Clam-mobiles and go on an undersea adventure with the cast of Finding Nemo. A must ride for kids.

Turtle Talk With Crush Length: 10 Minutes. Have a question for the totally bodacious Crush? In this computer-animated show, Crush talks and interacts with the audience. Thanks to this improvised nature, no two shows will be alike. This show is definitely geared towards younger guests.

Innoventions East Get a sneak peak at the cutting edge technology of today and tomorrow. Exhibits include: The Sum of All Thrills, Test the Limits Lab, Environmentality Corner, Don’t Waste It, Storm Struck, and Take a Nanooze Break.

Innoventions West Exhibits include: Segway Central, Play It Safe, Smarter Planet by IBM, Where’s the Fire, Slapstick Studios, and The Great Piggy Bank Adventure.

World Showcase AttractionsGran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros Length: 7 minutes. Take a boat ride with the Three Caballeros (featuring Donald Duck) and explore the sights of Mexico inside the Mexican Pavilion.

Maelstrom FPLength: 15 minutes. Travel along the North Sea on this boat ride inside Norway. The boat ride is very mild with one small drop. Tip: If you want to save time, skip the movie at the end by exiting immediately after you get off the boat.

Reflections of China Length: 14 minutes. A 360 degree film that depicts the landmarks of China.

The American Adventure Length: 30 minutes. Hosted by Ben Franklin and Mark Twain, this show tells the history of the United States. Featuring a combination of film clips and animatronics, this show is not to be missed.

Impressions de France Length: 20 minutes. A 200 degree film that shows off the major landmarks and attractions of France.

O Canada! Length: 22 minutes. Starring Martin Short, this 360 degree film features the best that Canada has to offer.

Hollywood Boulevard and Echo Lake AttractionsThe American Idol Experience Length: 30 minutes. See stars made at this talent competition comprised completely of WDW guests age 14 and older. Elimination rounds run throughout the day and culminate in the Finale Show that evening. Audience members vote on that day's top singers. The winner will receive a "Dream Ticket," which gives them a front of the line pass to the actual American Idol television auditions. Auditions are held each morning.

The Great Movie Ride Length: 22 minutes. Take a trip into the history of cinema in this delightful ride. Guests board vehicles which travel through iconic movie scenes, from the Yellow Brick Road of The Wizard of Oz to the spaceship from Alien. Streets of America AttractionsMuppet Vision 3D Length: 15 minutes. Join your favorite Muppets in this light-hearted and silly 3-D movie. Once in the theater, Kermit the Frog gives you a tour through the Muppet Laboratories, which inevitably leads to uproarious hijinks featuring the entire cast of the Muppets. If you’ve never been, be sure to check out the surprisingly funny pre-show.

Lights, Motors, Action! Length: 33 minutes. Learn what goes into the stunts behind your favorite chase sequences from major action movies in this extreme stunt show. In exhilarating demonstrations, stunt drivers perform jumps, high-speed turns, and explosive escapes in cars, motorcycles, and jetskis.

Studio Backlot Tour Length: 35 minutes. Go on a behind the scenes tour of some of Disney’s production facilities. The highlight of the tour is Catastrophe Canyon, which gives an up close and person demonstration of a disaster scene. While this ride is entertaining, it lacks the “wow” factor that a tour through an actual functioning movie/television studio would produce.

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure

Kids and parents alike can feel what it’s like to be shrunken down in this playground.

Pixar Place and Animation Courtyard Attractions Toy Story Midway Mania FPLength: 5 minutes. Compete against friends and family in a series of frantic midway style interactive games on this must-experience attraction. Note: This ride is extremely popular, so a Fastpass is a must. Be sure to grab one first thing when you get to the park: They run out fast!

Journey Into Narnia: Prince Caspian

Length: 15 minutes. Get a behind the scenes look at a movie that came out in 2008. It really is only interesting for huge fans of the Narnia movies.

Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream Length: 15 minutes. This exhibit includes a collection of never before seen memorabilia and interviews from the man who started it all: Walt Disney.

Voyage of The Little Mermaid Length: 15 minutes. This live musical offers an abridged performance of The Little Mermaid featuring both actors and puppets.

The Magic of Disney Animation Length: 15 minutes. Get a peak behind the scenes of Disney Animation. After a short film presentation, guests can peruse animation exhibits and even take a class on how to draw a Disney character. The class is a must experience!

Playhouse Disney - Live On Stage!

Length: 22 minutes. This musical attraction features characters from Disney Channel shows such as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, Handy Manny, and more!  Intended for  younger children, seating for this show is on the floor.

Sunset Boulevard Attractions Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster FPHeight Requirement: 48”. Length: 2 minutes. The biggest thrill you can find in all of Walt Disney World, this roller coaster features 3 inversions and a launch that takes guest from zero to 60 MPH in less than 3 seconds. Not for the faint of heart!

Twilight Zone Tower of Terror FPHeight Requirement: 40”. Length: 3 minutes. Set in the famous Hollywood Tower Hotel, this thrill ride is probably the creepiest attraction in Walt Disney World. Guests board an elevator that takes them up the nearly 200-foot tower before dropping them. The drops are randomized, so it’s unpredictable just how many times you will drop.

Fantasmic! Length: 25 minutes. Located in the Hollywood Hills Ampitheater, Fantasmic is a visual spectacle featuring music, water effects, fireworks, and a cast of classic Disney characters. Worth checking out, but beware of the crowds and long waits.

Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage

Length: 30 minutes. This live musical performance brings an abridged version of Beauty and the Beast to life. One of the most entertaining shows in the park.
