The whole persona of the song is kind of like, a changed relationship, one person falls in love and the other one falls out. I think that‟s us? I still have all these delusions of what I want to happen that won‟t and you‟re just doing your thing. I still want you to “introduce me to your friends, with the music and the lights and everything” (I always imagined us meeting up at a concert and meeting eachothersfriends), and I still want to be “making up for lost time, making it with me” (I‟m still rooting for us, and want us to make it.)
