2. Yay, we're bigger now, Rosemary! Now that she was older it'd become clear that Daisy had her father's nose, but her mother's eyes and mouth. 3. Rosemary on the other hand had inherited Chrysanthemum's nose and mouth, but Ocean's eyes. 4. It wasn't just the twins' birthday, though.Fir had become a toddler, so far with similar features to Rosemary. 5. Unfortunately the toys scattered in the backyard would go unused. As was legacy tradition, the kids of generation four would probably spend their childhood and teenhood skilling, and their college years, adulthood, and elderhood wondering what to do with themselves.Next generation would maybe be the lucky ones who wouldn't have that problem. 6. Anyway, Fir didn't mind skilling, because for him it was also play. But he had to be pulled from it ever now and then to be taught how to talk and walk. Maybe next generation the creator would stop teaching them such useless skills that they learn anyway on their 7 thbirthday. 7. And skills they never finish learning without smart milk till their 7 thbirthday. 8. Unfortunately, the one other person skilling their buts off had just gotten fired from a chance card. My bad. 9. He was deeply devestated, though he got the job back at a lower level. 10. Meanwhile, toddler skilling mania was coming to a close as Fir learned the second and last skill he'd ever learn as a toddler; how to walk. 11. Meanwhile, Rosemary was busy painting. Mommy said I could invest the money I make off of these in stocks. While Chrysi tried to make sure the fourth generation heiress (sorry Fir, girls tend to win the polls) would be the third heiress in a row to roll fortune. 12. Daisy was thankfully working on the harmless skill of cooking, and as a kid shouldn't be cooking Chrysi couldn't make Rosemary open and run a bakery. 13. Chrysi did manage to promote Cactus to a criminal mastermind, though, making two permaplat, maxed skills adults in the house. 14. And with the youngest out of diapers and semi-self-sufficient the two lawbreakers wouldn't have to do much care-taking for the kids. 15. Well, besides to drill them in military exercises.Even though neither was ever in the military. 16. After that they decided to try to get the kids into private school. 17. Woo-hoo! Eyes up, Professor Pervert. 18. How come I'm eating birthday cake? ... 19. I'm afraid I can't accept your kids into our snotty school. 20. Why is Mommy on the floor acting crazy? 21. Okay, let's try this again, but this time, you accept my kids, kapeesh? That depends... What's for dinner? And will I be eating with someone besides you? 22. Are you enjoying your lobster thermidor, sir? Yes, Cactus, thank you. 23. You're in. Chrysanthemum looks happier- and, well, saner. 24. This is what everyone else had been doing during dinner, of course.Skilling it up besides some snapdragons. 25. Now what, Cactus? Maybe we should open the business you bought? 26. Okay, but first, we need to finish the paintings. 27. Kids of spares growing up and a bit more montage! Sun's up A little after twelve Make breakfast for myself 28. So don't stop me Till I'm good and done, Don't you try to rain on my 44. Perfect, day On this perfect day On this perfect day _____ Now that that's done, let's get to the plot I promised last chapter, shall we? 45. Hmmm, I'm bored, let's see, I'll load sims...Oh right.Puddinroy is dead.I'll fix that... the creator's simself mumbled to herself as she set about doing creator-type things. 46. Hey, Puddinroy! she glanced a couple minutes later to see Puddinroy appear out of thin air.Sorry I let you die- though in my defense you should've realized it was a cowplant. Well, where will I stay? Puddinroy replied.I can't stay with Aria, she'll kill me!Again! Oh, I know just the place... she smiled. 47. That boring place? Puddinroy groaned. Hey, at least it won't attract attention. Will I have roomies? 48. Yeah, a family I made that my cousin plays. This is romance sim Jacqui Thomas, who as you can see is pregnant. 49. Oh, and here's her sister Thalia, who kinda set your gender preference to women? What?!? 50. Shhh, we have to spy on Aria now. She's up to something. 51. To: Tosha From: A. B. Subject: blank Make sureyou know whobecomes heir. Call me if someone tries to stop you or gets in your way and you need them gone. 52. So she wants to rig the heir/heiress election. the creator sighed. Apparently. Puddinroy, you keep an eye on Aria and tell me if anything fishy happens.I need to get back to watching the legacy sims.Specifically, Tosha. Got it. 53. But don't think I'm going to forgive you for setting my gender preference! I'll fix it later if you really want me too, but the legacy comes first!Boy am I glad Aria doesn't know the rules of my game yet. It's one of our best advantages. What about our simself powers? 54. Few and little. And one of the rules is to intervene in the legacy only sparringly, so what we do have tends to be useless. But you're intervening right now. Only because Aria broke my rule about nearly everyone dying only naturally, and the other one about simselves being immortal. 55. Thanks for coming, Spencer. Of course I'd come. Now, what's bothering you? 56. You know that I'm a romance sim, right? Of course. Well, I kinda of slept with two other guys and kissed this other one who was my cousin's fiancee and... 57. I'm really sorry. Can you forgive me? 58. Well, while we're confessing things, I have something of my own to say.Sit, get comfortable. This may take a while. 59. Well? What's the story? 60. I still can't believe it, Hummingbird said as conversation drifted back to another one from before graduation. 61. Spencer looked over at Hummingbird.I guess it is a lot to take in at first. Hummingbird nodded.Clones of every townie and dormie in every neighborhood does seem a bit... sci-fi.So there's another you back in Emerald Arch? 62. Yep, Spencer lifted Hummingbird onto his lap. But wait, wouldn't that mean there's another Tosha around here? Hummingbird asked. 63. Yeah, there should be another Tosha Go in River Cove... I wonder where she is. 64. Probaby in school.Tosha Go clones are given townie immortality at teendom. 65. Hi Fir! Tosha smiled at the little boy. Hi Aunt Tosha. Why'd you call me over? Fir looked up at his aunt.It seemed weird that she hadn't invited over the rest of his family, and that it had been her, and not Otieno, inviting him. Have you heard of your family's legacy? Yeah, what about it? 66. Well, do you want to be heir? Well, sure, I guess that'd be cool. Of course it would. You get to live in a nice, big house, and you get money and power. And I want to help you become heir. Really? 67. Sure, I like you. But Mom and Dad make it sound hard. Trust me, it's not that hard. You just have some kids and raise at least one to adulthood and voila! You're job is done. Really? All I have to do is make sure one of my kids grows up? 68. Exactly. And you get money and power? Yep.So do you want me to help you? Yeah! 69. Okay, now here's what we're going to do... 70. Are you sure this is the right address, Pao? Almond glanced up uncertainly at the strange building in front of them. I thought so, Almond, but now I'm not so sure. Pao looked down at the map, where 24 Oak Road was circled in red marker. This should be it. Do you think Chrysanthemum or Poplar had an extra bedroom they can give us? 71. I thought we agreed we didn't want to be a burden to our kids. I know, but look at this place! Nothing a little renovation can't fix, I'm sure. 72. *beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep* 73. Hi, Poplar, it's your mom...Yes, we just arrived this morning...We're on 24 Oak Road right now, it's not the best but your father thinks we can make it better... 74. Oh, sure, we'd love to have you over!Bring Chrysanthemum too!...Okay, bye, see you soon! 75. Well, this place is definitely... something, Chrysanthemum commented as she walked into the living room behind Poplar.Luckily you have money saved up from your old jobs, and the old legacy fortune. Yes, well, we donated that all to charity... Almond replied somewhat nonchalantly. Chrysi groaned. It's a good thing that junk outside is worth something, then. 76. Yes, we'll sell just about everything, so we'll be able to raise the money. But we want to hear about you! What have you two been up to? 77. Well, we're all married now.I have a daughter, Chickadee, and Chrysanthemum has three kids, Rosemary, Daisy, and Fir... Poplar continued, going through all the Lynn and Flynn kids that had been born in River Cove. 78. Who do you think would be the best heir or heiress, Chrysanthemum? Ani turned the conversation over to her daughter. 79. I don't know, they're still so young, it's hard to think of any of them as being a heir or heiress. It's not up to us anyway, Chrysi replied. 80. But you haven't had any trouble over here?No sign of Nathan? Almond said, worried. 81. Mom, Nathan's probably dead by now. 82. Though we have had a little trouble with a girl named Natalie. 83. Really? What did she do? Ani replied. 84. She tried to get me to break up with Ocean and live with her, and she kinda made me lose my memory. 85. Almond and Pao looked at each other, and then at Chrysi. You lost your memory? 86. Yeah, but Otieno and the others have filled me in on just about everything. 87. Anyway, that was just in college, and now Natalie is gone.I don't think she'll be any trouble. 88. Okay, but be careful. For all we know Nathan had kids, and his descendents followed you over here, Pao told them. 89. We'll be fine, Mom, Chrysi replied. 90. Opal, it's time I talked to you about the family business, Gina cornered her daughter. By that do you mean getting one of the blue-skinned Lynns over here? Opal looked up at her mom, an eyebrow raised. 91. Exactly. I don't get why you haven't done it already. You could've done it while they were asleep. 92. In the dorm? No, I didn't have the proper equipment for what I needed to do, and besides... Well if you hadn't influenced Hummingbird to kiss Ocean you could've invited her over for dinner while she was pregnant and drugged her, later telling her she'd fallen asleep.Because she'd be pregnant she wouldn't question that she'd fallen asleep. 93. Don't interrupt me.One day wouldn't have been enough, and drugging her multiple times and she might get suspicious. So I had to take the chance I'd get caught and influence Hummingbird.Also... Well why didn't you do it at the last minute so she'd never have reconciled with Ocean? 94. I said don't interrupt me!The timing on that was a mistake on my part, I'll admit. And it was because of Otieno they reconciled.Also... I'd have killed Otieno. 95. I told you to be quiet! Now how do you know so much about my attempts? Jaiden told me. 96. Now if you're so smart, what's your plan? My plan is simple, which is why it'll work. 97. Well, the heir or heiress will feel like they have to go back to their old home, and I frankly don't want this to be the legacy house.I like my cheats. So I'd go after a spare, maybe even a spare of a spare if they have blue skin. 98. I'll become a good witch so I can use a couple befriending spells to help me out.If anyone gets in my way, I'll kill them. Our family ought to have enough power after four generations to kill with our minds alone. 99. And that's what I'll do. There's problems with your plan too, you know. What if you can't befriend any of them? What if I don't let you become a good witch? What if you can't kill with your mind alone? I'll find a way to, I'll become one in secret, and I'll kill them with poison or fire or something.Face it, my plan's gonna work. 100. The End! I wasn't even aware he knew that witch, let alone that she'd been in the house...Anyway, I promised more plot this chapter, and I hope I delivered!Cause I like keeping my promises.See ya next time!
