The Music

• Unique to Marching Band is taking the music from the concert hall to the field

• All the basic skills are called upon to play your instrument well

• Good equipment, in working order• Practicing and knowing the music• Music we perform:

• Warm-ups• The show music “Ray”• Stand tunes/cadences/track tunes• The Fight song

• TAX CREDIT• $400 filing jointly• $200 filing individually• What is it used for:

• Instruments• Flags• Recording equipment (the CD)• Guest speakers/clinicians• Trips• Directly benefits this band and YOUR student

• Audience• Whether they tell you or not, they love when you come

and see them perform• Booster’s shirts

• Fees• $60 Transportation (Mrs. Kathy Holmes)• Uniform Parts (Checks to Hayden School Supply)

• Jacket and pants are provided by school• $34 for black marching shoes (use shoes available)*• $6.50 for blackblack gloves*• $5.50 for a flip folder• $15 for Band t-shirt*

*free depending on car wash pledges

• $50 school instrument/equipment usage fee (anyone who uses a school instrument of equipment)

• This fee provides maintenance and repair of school instruments/equipment.• Drum line/pit members• Colorguard members• Wind players who use school instruments

• Paperwork• Band handbook compliance sheet• Physical is recommended, but not required.
