Our Film Pitch…Betrayed

Narrative of our film:

Angelina Jolie and Will Smith are an ordinary couple living in New York, with a twist…

Will Smith is a member of the American FBI. However he’s on screen partner (Angelina Jolie) is a member of America's most wanted

undercover spy agency. Will is not aware of Angelina’s secret spy agency, but his on screen best friend and colleague is aware, and

therefore without Will’s permission attempts to gun down Angelina.What will happen?Will Angelina die?

Genre of our film

• We as film makers, have decided that our film shall be an action film.

• We have decided to pitch an action film mainly because we have been inspired by several other films. These films being for instance: Clash of the Titans (2010), Cop Out (2010) & The Book of Eli (2010).

Target Audience

• As our film shall be an action film, we have chosen to target young males aged between 16-25.

• We want to target this particular age range as they are most likely to be interested in a film of this genre.

• Our research also proves males at this particular age, are the most likely of all people to pay to watch an action film.

Release Date

• We plan to release our film during late spring/early summer.

• The month we plan to release our film shall be mid may. This is because the atmosphere around late spring is normally energetic and exciting, especially with the holiday season just round the corner. This therefore will increase the popularity of our film and shall bring in more money as the majority of our target audience shall be off school/work around this time.

How much will our film cost?

• Our film shall be an extremely high budget film. This is due to the amount of money we have available.

• Overall, we expect our film to cost around $130 000,000

• We have gathered our budget based on other action films, and how much they normally cost. For instance our research shows that one of the films we are inspired by (Clash of the titans 2010) cost around $125 000,000

How much we expect our film to make?

• Based on our research, we expect our high budget film to make around the sum of$400,000,000 - $500,000,000.

• We have gathered this figure from research on the film, Clash Of The Titans. For example, Clash Of The Titans made the sum of $493,214,993(Box Office), and we also expect to make around this sum mainly because our film consists of a high budget and a recognizable cast and crew.
