Romulo Pires – Eclectic and Diversified

As a top fashion model, Romulo Pires has seen every corner of the globe. He has secured contracts with iconic brands like Gucci, Guess, Zara, Cartier, Nieman Marcus and a host of others. He describes himself as “eclectic” which only minimally illustrates the reasoning behind his flurry of activity over the past eleven years since his inception into the world of high fashion.

Romulo appreciates diversity in life and he not only creates this with shooting all over the world, but in his many hobbies like going to the theater, playing soccer, hanging out with friends and family, playing the ukulele, and playing pool. He also likes running and staying fit by practicing the Thai combat sport, Muay Thai.

He is fond of adventure, and often dreams of the day when he can have the opportunity to shoot on Mount Everest, a lifelong fascination for him. No doubt this Brazilian-Italian born model would still look dashingly elegant in an oversized parka.

Perhaps it was not just in Romulo Pires’ genes to be eclectic, but in his upbringing as well. He is one of thirteen brothers and sisters – counting total on both his mother and father’s sides.

Surely, he needed to be eclectic to stand out among them, and he is supremely happy that he has had the opportunity to improve their lives, as well as his own, through his modeling career.

Fashion magazines have a particular affinity for Romulo also. He has appeared in various editorials in the pages of Spanish GQ, Glamour, V Man, GQ and Korean GQ, Vanity Fair, Upstreet, Madame Figaro, and others.

Romulo is studying theater and hopes to broaden his ambitions even further to stage or film. And someday, he comments, after taking business classes, he would love to open a café in Brazil, and perhaps other businesses, as well. He is always on the move, always moving forward, always thinking ahead. He believes that each year has a new, wonderful surprise just waiting to be discovered.

On top of everything, Romulo Pires is a humanitarian. His favorite cause is the New York City based volunteer program, “New York Cares.” Their impact is felt throughout New York City with their programs to help with disaster response, job readiness, coat drives, literacy programs, youth service clubs, and other community-oriented outreach programs.
