PART B
Objectives of exam
There are 6 main topicsLike in section A, only 1 will come up so you
must know all 6This exam is tough because you must
remember so much information, CONSTANT revision is key.
If you don’t constantly revise, you will not remember everything
Think of revision like this……
Person A wants to lose weight They have 6 months At the start they are really motivated and first few days they do
well, go for a few walks/runs and eat better They lose a couple pounds In 2nd week they only walk once a week and start eating biscuits By the first month they are only walking once every few weeks
and occasionally have healthy meals Half the time is past and they haven’t lost any weight and put
the few pounds they lost awhile back, they don’t feel good. They have a few weeks to lose weight, they panic they go on a
soup diet They lose some of the weight but are feeling stressed and
wishing they were more consistent from the start
Think of revision like this……
Person B wants to lose weight They have 6 months They start of slow and steady, eat well during week and treat themselves
on weekend. They set a goal of exercising 2 nights per week. They lose a couple pounds By the first month they are keeping to their goal and sometimes do 3
nights of exercise and regularly occasionally have healthy meals (some treats)
They keep this consistent in the first month and have now lost a few more pounds
After 3 months they have lost nearly half the weight and feel great; confidence
They have 1 month left to lose the last few pounds and they are feeling confident and willing, it doesn’t feel like a struggle
They lose MORE than they thought, feel fantastic and think….it wasn’t as bad as they thought!
Who are you?
Are you A or B?
1 term has nearly past……..1/3 of time
2/3 left…...
Mock exam is in 5 weeks (4 teaching weeks)
