Four Seasons

• Used to teach children the names and order of the seasons.•  Children split up into four groups representing the seasons.• Leader stands and yells a season. ex: "I am Spring. I am

Coming."• Then the children representing the next season then stand

up and yell.• This continues until the leader feels that the children know

the order of the seasons.• At that time they either make the children sit with other

children or sit with their eyes closed and play the game again.

Forcing The City Gates• Requires a group of six or

more people. • There are two captains

that pick their team mates.• The two teams stand

opposite each other holding hands.

• One player from each team tries hurling themselves through the other teams line.

• If he makes it the two players on either side of him go back with him

• If he doesn't make it, he stays there and becomes a part of that team.

Blind Man's Bluff

• Requires just a blindfold and large amount of space.• Choose one player to be "it" and blindfold them.• Spin them a few times to disorient them.• All the other player's spread around the room.• Once the "it" person tags another player that player is "it"

Hopping chicken

• The object of this game is to see who is the most balanced and who is the strongest

• there are sticks stuck in a ladder formation on the ground• the player must be on one foot and hop over all of the sticks

without touching them• if the player makes it to the end they must pick up one stick

on the end but stay on one foot

Catch The Dragon's Tail

• Players form a line and put their hands on the shoulders of the player ahead of them.

• The one in front is the dragon's head, the one in the back is the dragon's tail.

• The player in front must Maneuver the line so the he/she can tag the last player in line.

• Once he/she is tagged they become the head and everyone else moves back one spot in line.

Honor

• Boys pair up and lock the first fingers on their right hands.• THen the boys pull them apart.• As soon as their fingers break apart, BUT NOT BEFORE,

the boys yell "honor".• The one who says it last sits down and the winner looks for

a new partner.• This continues until there is an overall winner

Knocking The Stick

• Draw two lines in the dirt about 8 feet apart.• place a stick on the ground in the middle between the two

lines.• Each player selects their own stick and take turns trying to

knock the middle stick over the opposite line.

Hawk Catching Young Chicks

• One player is selected to be the hawk and one is the hen.• The other players line up behind the hen holding on the the

shirt of the player in front of them.•  The hawk must try and catch the kids lined up behind the

hen. • Once they are caught they form a line behind the hawk.

Cat Catching Mice 

this game is based on the classic cartoon named tom and jerry where the cat runs after the mouse.There are kids standing in a circle and there is a mouse in the circle and a cat outside the circle there is usic playing and when it stops the cat runs after the mouse.
