SMALL BUSINESS: FTAs sweep away trade barriers that are especially tough on the 300,000 small and medium-sized companies that account for 97% of all U.S. exporters.8
FASTER GROWTH: U.S. exports to new FTA markets tend to grow two-to-four times faster in the five-year period following the agreement’s entry into force than U.S. exports globally.9
