Sample Scenario
Corporate Community Engagement Strategy
“…money, while critical, is only one of many assets a company can bring to bear – and often times, it is far less powerful than the skills and capabilities companies can draw from their business operations and apply to solving big social challenges.
- Peter Scher, JP Morgan Chase & Co.
• Start with a specific theme(s) that may be of interest to the company/friends.
• Start with any criteria you have for a partner (e.g., location, volunteer opportunities, track record, number of staff...)
• Consider resources your company/friends have to offer.
LIN works with our partners to design a unique scenario(s) that can be used to engage all team members in the event. For example:
What do you need to prepare?
Transportation: Motorbikes or Taxis Safety First: If you will go by motorbike, you must bring a helmet!
Each team needs at least one smartphone/IPAD (full battery)
Participants should wear casual clothes
Appreciation gifts for site visit hosts (e.g., company paraphernalia,
office supplies, fruits or goodie baskets)
Optional: Camera (if you like to take photos / good for PR)
Remember to have breakfast before you come
An open mind!
