Closing Ceremony of LMST Shangla At Hotel Swat Regency Mingora Swat on June 08, 2013 Under Programme for Economic Advancement & Community Empowerment (PEACE) It was first LMST residential event for the men community activists of UC Alpuri & Lilownai Shangla, conducted at Hotel Swat Regency Mingora Swat on June 4 - 8, 2013. After successful completion of five days residential LMST, the closing ceremony was held on the last day, in which apart from Mr. Ihsnaullah Khan (Member BOD/Advisor PEACE), Mr. Ijaz Ali DPM Swat Region, SOU Incharge Shangla and Regional HRD staff, 25 training participants participated. Mr. Farukh Atiq (Assistant Commissioner Babuzi) was the chief guest in the occasion.

Closing Ceremony of LMST Shangla At Hotel Swat Regency Mingora Swat on June 08, 2013

It was first LMST residential event for the men

community activists of UC Alpuri & Lilownai

Shangla, conducted at Hotel Swat Regency

Mingora Swat on June 4 - 8, 2013. After

successful completion of five days residential

LMST, the closing ceremony was held on the last

day, in which apart from Mr. Ihsnaullah Khan

(Member BOD/Advisor PEACE), Mr. Ijaz Ali DPM

Swat Region, SOU Incharge Shangla and Regional

HRD staff, 25 training participants participated.

Mr. Farukh Atiq (Assistant Commissioner Babuzi)

was the chief guest in the occasion.

Mr. Ijaz Ali (DPM Swat Region)

while expressing his views, he

was of the opinion that SRSP

believe that communities have

the capabilities and potentials to

do and SRSP is going to explore

these capabilities and potentials.

He also added that you all are

community leaders and the good

leaders are always thinking for

the betterment of coming

nations. He asked the participants

to ensure implementation and

practical demonstration of the

learning in their community

institutions, which they got during

this five days residential LMST

training event.

Mr. Ihsanullah Khan (Member

BOD/Advisor PEACE, SRSP) before

giving his comments and feedback,

he presented warm welcome to the

chief guest for sparing his precious

time for the event. He highlighted

mission, vision, working approach

and core messages of SRSP in detail.

At the end he stressed the entire

participants to focus the poorest

segments of the society and get them

involved in their community

institutions, so that to ensure

maximum participation and carpet

coverage of the concerned

communities. He once again thanked

the chief guest and entire training

participants.

The respected chief guest

Mr. Farukh Atiq (Assistant

Commissioner Babuzi Swat)

appreciated the activities

being carried out by SRSP,

having close links with

concerned communities. He

was of the opinion that it is

very important to spend on

human development, which

could then play vital role in

development sector. He also

added that SRSP is going to

bridge the gaps between the

government and line

departments and concerned

communities and thus to

make easy access for the

common folk to their basic

rights. At the end he

thanked SRSP team. The certificates were then awarded by the chief guest to the

training participants.

participated in the occasion as

chief guest.

The LMST closing ceremony was started with

recitation from the Holy Quran, performed by one

among the training participants.

Mr. Bahadur Ali Regional HRDO Swat, while expressions his views,

he thanked the chief guest for timely participation in the occasion.

He further added we on behalf of SRSP are trying our best to

organize and facilitate such types of training events with all possible

arrangements. He also added that we believe that communities have

potentials to do and the SRSP is going to explore these potentials in

the shape of organized communities.

Mr. Murad Ali Khan DPM SRSP Swat presented warm welcome to the chief guest and the entire

participants. He further highlighted the SRSP core message along with vision and mission and also

about EU-PEACE Project and its components. He expressed that EU-PEACE project is four years

initiative being funded by European Union and implemented by SRSP in 100 UCs of seven districts in

Malakand Division. He also discussed about five days residential LMST and its contents and its impact

on the community institutions at field level. He also asked participants for volunteerism and showing

their interest for working as community resource persons (CRPs, as a response of which the

participants showed their keen interest by raising hands.

Mr. Sohrab, one among the training participants

and member of Khushal Tanzeem UC Martung

Khas, while expressing his views regarding the

five days residential LMST, he was of the opinion

that I am B. Sc. Honor by qualification and we got

one day CMST at community level before this

LMST. He further added that we got a lot of

about social mobilization, development, village

development plan, value chain, conflict

resolution and access to basic human rights.

Mr. Rehman Ali one among

the training we now got clear

concept towards brotherhood

and collectivism. He showed

satisfaction regarding training

arrangements and outcome.

Mr. Dost Ahmad one among the training

participants and president of Khushal

Tanzeem UC Martung Khas, while giving

his feedback regarding the five days

LMST, he was of the opinion that before

this training we had fears regarding

social sector organizations, but after

getting this training the event, we now

got clear concept towards brotherhood

and collectivism.

Mr. Janab Ali one among the

Khushal Tanzeem, while giving his

feedback regarding five days

residential LMST, was of the opinion

that we spent these five days purely

in worship.

The Respected Chief Guest Mr. Kalim Ullah (Assistant Director, Pakistan

Bait ul Mal District Swat) thanked SRSP staff and the entire participants

and appreciated the activities being carried out by SRSP, especially five

days LMST. He further briefed the participants regarding department of

Pakistan Bait ul Mal (PBM) and its activities. He added that Pakistan Bait

ul Mal is federal level department and working in all districts of KP. While

highlighting PBM activities he added that we are working on food,

scholarship for poor students, free treatment, child support program,

national centre for child rehabilitation, vocational training and free

education for 4 to 6 years children (Pakistan Sweet Home).

Questions/answers session was held, in which different questions raised

from participants, which were clarified by the chief guest with the entire

satisfaction of the participants.

Shangla, the concluding

ceremony was held, in which

apart from Shangla SOU staff,

the Regional HRDO Swat & 50

men activists (training

participants) participated. Mr.

Suleman Shah (Line Officer) on

behalf of Mr. Mubarak Ali Khan

(DSP Headquarter, Javed Iqbal

Shaheed Police Line Swat) also

participated in the occasion as

chief guest.

During the event, when the participants were asked to present their views

regarding the five days residential training, one among the training participants

while expressing his feedback regarding the five days training, he added that

they are fully satisfied on all the training arrangements. He further added that

these training events are very important for building of self confidence among

the training participants. He also added that we all would onward work

together as organized communities for sustainable development of our local

communities through self help initiatives. Another participant also expressed

his views and added that the SRSP is going to explore the potentials of the

communities, which seems good steps towards sensitizing the local

communities and building their self confidence, which will lead them towards

sustainable development.

he thanked the chief guest for timely participation in the occasion.

He further added we on behalf of SRSP are trying our best to

organize and facilitate such types of training events with all possible

arrangements. He also added that we believe that communities

have potentials to do and the SRSP is going to explore these

The respected chief guest during his speech he thanked

SRSP staff and the entire participants and added that

the activities being done by SRSP are to be highly

appreciated. He also added that the SRSP is going to

bridge the gap between different stakeholders and

communities, which could further be more fruitful in

giving attentions to the communities at grass root level.

He also ensured extending all possible support to the

community organizations on the basis of when and

where required.

Closing Ceremony of LMST Shangla at Relax Cottage Guest House Saidu Sharif Swat

March 25, 2014

The LMST closing ceremony was started with

recitation from the Holy Quran performed by

one the training participants.

Mr. Bahadur Ali Regional HRDO Swat, while expressions his views, thanked the

chief guest for sparing his precious time and timely participation in the

occasion. While expressing his views, he highlighted the SRSP vision and

mission as well as working approach and objectives to the specific training

event. He further added that we on behalf of SRSP are trying our best to

organize and facilitate such types of training events with all possible

arrangements. He also added that we believe that communities have potentials

to do and the SRSP is going to explore these potentials in the shape of

organized communities.

Mr. Sarzamin Khan (President of CO Kher Khegara UC Bengalai), while giving his

feedback regarding the five days residential training of LMST, he added that

being a school teacher the things, which we have learned during the training

were never learned throughout my life. He was also of the opinion that we now

believe upon community organizations, which could further lead us towards

collectivism and sustainable development. He also highlighted the importance of

saving mechanism among the CO members and appreciated it.

Mr. Attaullah (Member of CO Khidmat-e-Khalq) among the training

participants, while giving his feedback regarding the five days residential

LMST training, he added that we learned a lot about social mobilization,

development concept and role of community activists. He further expressed

that we would onward live in communities as brothers and work together for

ensuring sustainable development in our local societies.

The Respected Chief Guest (Mr. Jehan Sher Khan, District Officer of Fishery

Department District Swat & Buner) during his speech thanked SRSP staff and the

entire participants. While expressing his concluding remarks he added that we have

worked closely with SRSP in various activities. He further expressed that this five days

training would be more fruitful for all the participants in the sense of real

development in communities at grassroots level. He was also of the opinion that I

myself am really impressed and would further have close liaison with SRSP and

communities. He ensured all possible support from department of fisheries at all level.
