Alexander LevlovitzAlexander Levlovitz was killed on

September 13, 2015, in what is often seen as the start of the current wave of

terror.

Mr. Levlovitz was heading home from Rosh Hashana dinner with his family when terrorists attacked his car with

rocks.

The rocks caused him to lose control of his vehicle. He collided with a pole in the

road. At the same time, he suffered a heart attack while behind the wheel.

Mr. Levlovitz leaves behind three children.

Rabbi Eitam and Naama HenkinRabbi Eitam Henkin, 31, and his wife Naama, 30,

were killed in a devastating shooting

attack by at least two terrorists on October 1,

2005, during the holiday of Sukkot.

The family was traveling on the road between

Itamar and Elon Moreh when the terrorists opened

fire.

Both Eitam and Naama were killed on the spot. Their 4 children were in

the back seat but sustained only minor

injuries.

Rabbi Aharon Benita-Bennett Rabbi Aharon Benita-Bennett

was stabbed to death on October 3, 2015 while walking

through the Old City in Jerusalem with his wife, Adelle, and two small children during

Sukkot.

After Aharon was stabbed, the terrorist turned his attention to Adelle, stabbing her multiple times. An Old City resident,

Nehemia Lavi heard her screams and came out to help

her but was jumped by the terrorist and killed.

The terrorist also stole Nehamia’s gun and shot

Aharon’s small son in the leg. The other child was thankfully

unharmed.

Rabbi Nehemia LaviNehemia Lavi was fatally stabbed while

attempting to save Adelle Benita-Bennett and her children from a terrorist. The attack took place on October 3, 2015,

during Sukkot.

The terrorist killed Adelle’s husband Aharon and stabbed her repeatedly but

hid when Nehemia ran out with his gun. As Nehemia tended to Adelle’s wounds, the

terrorist snuck up behind him and stabbed him in the back. After a long struggle, Nehemia was unable to hold off the

terrorist.

After killing Nehemia, the terrorist grabbed his gun and shot in the direction of Adelle and her children. He hit Adelle’s 2-year-old in the leg, wounding the small

child.

Nehemia leaves behind a wife and seven children.

Chaim Haviv, 78, was killed in a terrorist attack on passengers on bus

78 in Jerusalem’s Armon HaNetziv neighborhood on October 13, 2015.

Chaim and his wife were on their way home from a doctor’s appointment

when two terrorists – one armed with a gun and the other with a knife –

boarded the bus and began shooting and stabbing passengers.

Chaim was killed and his wife was seriously wounded in the attack. He is survived by his wife, five children and

14 grandchildren.

Alon GovbergAlon Govberg was the second person killed by terrorists aboard a Jerusalem

bus 78 on October 13, 2015.

The terrorists boarded the bus with a gun and a knife and began attacking passengers. One terrorist was killed by a security guard on the bus. The other was shot from the outside.

Alon came to Israel from Baku, Azerbaijan, 20 years earlier. He was

unmarried and had no close family in Israel.

He is survived by his elderly mother, who flew to Israel for his funeral.

Hundreds of people joined her after local organizations called on the public to ensure Alon received a

dignified burial.

Richard LakinRichard Lakin, 76, was the third victim of the terrorist attack on bus 78 in the

Armon HaNetziv neighborhood on October 13, 2015.

Richard suffered critical wounds from a stabbing and shooting, and

succumbed to those wounds two weeks later.

Richard made aliyah from the US with his wife and two children 32 years

ago. He was a well-known educator in Jerusalem

He is survived by his wife and children, and eight grandchildren.

Rabbi Yeshayahu KrishevskyRabbi Yeshayahu Krishevsky, 59, was

killed in a brutal ax attack in Jerusalem on October 13, 2015.

Rabbi Krishevsky was on his way home from morning prayers when a terrorist

ran his car into a bus stop in the religious Makor Baruch neighborhood.

The terrorist then jumped out of the car and attacked people at the stop with an

ax.

At his funeral, Rabbi Krishevsky was remembered as a pure soul who

learned Torah all day and spoke only about topics relating to holiness.

He is survived by his son and grandchildren.

Omri Levy Omri Levy, 19, was murdered

in a terrorist attack at the Be’er Sheva Central Bus

Station on October 18, 2015.

The terrorist arrived at the station with a pistol and a knife. After stabbing Omri,

the terrorist stole the soldier’s gun and opened fire

on the crowded station, wounding 11 other people,

including four other soldiers and four police officers.

He is survived by his mother, and his brother and sister.

Habtom ZerhomHabtom Zehrom, 29, an Eritrean

asylum seeker, was the second person killed in a terrorist attack on the bus station in Be’er Sheva on October 18, 2015. He was mistaken for a second terrorist on the scene and shot by

security forces.

Habtom was in Be’er Sheva to renew his visa, and was waiting for his bus

home when a terrorist began to attack people with a knife and pistol.

Tragically, in the confusion that followed, with scores of people

attempting to flee to safety in all directions, security officials on the

scene saw Habtom running and believed he was another terrorist.

Avraham Asher HasnoAvraham Asher Hasno, 54, was

killed by terrorists on October 20, 2015. He was on his way home in Kiryat Arba from his job in Otniel when terrorists blocked the road with burning tires and began to

pelt his car with stones.

The attack on the car forced Avraham out of his vehicle. As he was crossing the road, he was hit

by a car and fatally wounded.

Avraham ran the kitchen at the yeshiva in Otniel. He is survived by his wife, seven children, and nine

grandchildren.

Rabbi Haim (Howie) RothmanRabbi Howie Rothman was the sixth

victim of the brutal attack on a synogogue on Har Nof that took place

on Nov. 18, 2014.

Two terrorists with a gun, butcher knives, and axes attacked people

during morning prayers. Rabbi Rothman suffered multiple wounds to the head. He remained in a coma for 11 months before succumbing to his

wounds on October 24, 2015.

Rabbi Rothman grew up in Toronto before making aliyah in 1985. He

attended prayers at the synagogue regularly. He is survived by his wife

and ten children.

Benjamin YakubovichBorder Policeman St.-Sgt. Benjamin

Yakubovitch, 19, was critically wounded in a car ramming attack on November 4, 2015, and died of his

wounds four days later, on November 8.

In the attack, the terrorist succeeded in wounding three border policemen,

including Benjamin, on Highway 60 near the Halhoul Junction.

He is survived by his his parents, grandparents, brother and two sisters.

On November 13, 2015, Rabbi Yaacov Litman, 40, his wife, and

their six children were driving to a pre-wedding celebration of their

daughter, who was getting married within days.

On the way, terrorists opened fire, killing Yaacov and son Netanel, 18, and wounding his wife and four of

the five other children.

The wedding was delayed for a mourning period. When it ended, the couple invited all of Israel to

celebrate with them, drawing more than 100,000 people.

They leave behind their wife/mother, and five

children/siblings.

Reuven AviramReuven Aviram, 51, was stabbed to death in an attack on the Panaroma building in

Tel Aviv during afternoon prayers on November 19, 2015.

The terrorist approached the prayer area and stabbed a victim at the entrance.

Those inside attempted to help the wounded victims and close the door to

prevent the terrorist from entering. However, the terrorist managed to stab

two more people, both fatally.

Reuven came to Israel from Uzbekistan in 1990. He worked as a jeweler in Tel Aviv.

He is survived by his wife, son, and brother.

Rabbi Aharon YesayevRabbi Aharon Yesayev, 31, was also killed in the stabbing attack on Tel Aviv’s Panorama building during

afternoon prayers. The attack took place on November 19, 2015.

Rabbi Yesayev, who worked at the an office in the building, came to the

prayer room to complete a quorum of 10 men for the prayer service.

He is survived by his wife and five children. The oldest was six at the

time of the attack.

Ezra SchwartzEzra Schwartz, 18, was killed in a terrorist

shooting at the Alon Shvut junction in Gush Etzion on November 19, 2015. The terrorist opened fire with an automatic

weapon, killing Ezra and two other people.

Ezra, a US citizen spending his gap year in Israel, was on his way to volunteer at the Oz Ve’Gaon park, named for three

boys kidnapped and killed a year earlier. He came each week to help beautify the

park.

Ezra was known for his passion for Israel and for helping others. He was scheduled to attend Rutgers University in the fall.

He is survived by his parents, sister, and three brothers.

Yaakov DonYaakov Don, 49, was killed on November 19, 2015, at the Alon Shvut junction in

Gush Etzion when a terrorist opened fire with an automatic weapon on cars in the

intersection.

Yaakov was driving to Ma’ale Adumim to study Torah with his sons at the yeshiva there – the highlight of his week. He was

killed shortly after leaving his home.

He was a lifelong educator, teaching at the Derech Haavot High School in Efrat and working at the Education Ministry

while completing his doctorate in education technology.

He is survived by his wife and their four children.

Shadi ArafaShadi Arafa, 24, a Palestinian

resident of Hebron, was the third person killed in the shooting

attack on the Alon Shvut junction on Nov. 19, 2015.

Shadi was on his way home from his job when the shooting took place. He had been stuck in a

traffic jam and wound up in the line of fire.

Hadar BuchrisHadar Buchris, 21, was stabbed to

death at the Gush Etzion junction as she was waiting for a bus.

The terrorist stabbed Hadar in the head and her upper body, leaving her in critical condition. She passed away

shortly after.

Hadar studied theater before doing two years of national service working

with children and youth. She had been traveling and only returned to

Israel two weeks before she was killed.

She is survived by her parents and four siblings.

Cpl. Ziv MizrahiCpl. Ziv Mizrahi, 18, was killed in a stabbing attack at a gas station on Route 443 between Jerusalem and Modi’in on November 23, 2015.

Ziv, a driver in the IDF, had come to the gas station to activate an

observatory balloon. He had been in a minor accident nearby and stopped to exchange information with the driver. While Ziv was outside his vehicle, a terrorist attacked him and a female

soldier.

Ziv managed to open fire on the terrorist and prevent any further

casualties, but he was unable to save himself.

He is survived by his parents, brother and sister.

Rabbi Reuven BiermacherRabbi Reuven Biermacher, 45, was stabbed by two terrorists as he was leaving the Old City of Jerusalem,

where he taught at the Ais HaTorah yeshiva. The attack took place on

December 23, 2015.

Rabbi Biermacher, a popular and inspiring teacher in the yeshiva’s Spanish division, suffered multiple

stab wounds to the chest, and passed away several hours later.

He and his wife and children made aliyah from Argentina five years earlier in order to connect more

deeply with their Jewish heritage.

He is survived by his wife and seven children.

Ofer Ben Ari was another victim of the stabbing attack outside the Jaffa Gate

of the Old City on December 23, 2015.

As two terrorists rushed at Israeli civilians with knives outside the gates of the Old City, Ofer attempted to stop

them.

Tragically, Ofer was killed by fire from Israeli security intended for the

terrorists.

Ofer operated a recording studio in Jerusalem, often leaving it open for

free for troubled youths. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Genadi KaufmanGenadi Kaufman, 41, was

critically wounded in a stabbing attack near the Cave of the

Patriarchs in Hebron on December 7, 2015. He died of his wounds on

December 29.

Genadi, a gardener at the holy place, was waiting for a ride

home to Kiryat Arba when he was assailed by a knife-wielding

terrorist, who stabbed him in his heart, lungs, and stomach.

He leaves behind his wife and two children.

Alon BakalAlon Bakal, 26, was killed in a

shooting attack on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv on January 1, 2016.

Alon, a fourth year law student, was the manager of the Simta Pub when a terrorist opened fire on the pub at mid-day, killing Alon and one other

person.

Alon was due to begin an internship at a legal firm at the time of the shooting. On New Year’s Eve, the

night before the shooting, he left a message for his father, “It’s great,

it’s fun, I love life.”

He is survived by his parents, brother and sister.

Shimon RuimiShimon Ruimi, 30, was killed in the

terrorist shooting at the Simta pub on January 1, 2016, in Tel Aviv.

Shimon, a resident of Ofakim, came to Tel Aviv to celebrate the birthday of a friend. He was hit by bullets fired by a

terrorist who opened fire on the crowded Dizengoff Street at around

noon.

Shimon worked as a civilian employee for the IDF. He is survived

by his parents and three siblings.

Amin ShabaanAmin Shabaan, 42, was killed by the same terrorist who killed Alon Bakal and Shimon Ruimi earlier in the day.

Amin, a Beduin Israeli who worked as a taxi driver in the Tel Aviv area,

unwittingly picked up the terrorist who carried out the Dizengoff Street

shooting.

After driving the terrorist to his destination, the terrorist shot Amin,

presumably to avoid being turned over to authorities.

Amin leaves behind three wives and 11 children. He was a resident of Lod.

Dafna Meir Dafna Meir, 38, a mother of six,

was stabbed to death by a terrorist in her own home in Otniel

on January 17, 2016. She was killed while struggling with the terrorist to protect her children.

Dafna succeeded in keeping the terrorist away from her children, but sustained fatal wounds to her

upper body. Her 17-year old daughter, Renana, witnessed the murder. Two other children were home at the time of the attack, saved by their mother’s bravery.

She is survived by her husband and six childen.

Shlomit KrigmanShlomit Krigman, 23, was fatally

injured in a stabbing attack outside a store in Beit Horon on January 25,

2016, and succumbed to her wounds the next morning.

She had gone to the store to purchase a warm coat to prepare for a storm.

Two terrorists had infiltrated the town and stabbed Shlomit and another

woman outside the store. They then tried to go inside but the store owner

blocked their way with a shopping cart.

Shlomit leaves behind her parents and six younger siblings.

Hadar CohenBorder police officer Hadar Cohen,

19, was attacked by three terrorists at the Damascus Gate on February

2, 2016. It was her first day on patrol at the terror hotspot.

The terrorists, armed with concealed guns, knives and pipe

bombs, were preparing to launch a major attack. Hadar’s alertness and heroism saved many lives.

However, she died of her wounds hours later, on February 3.

She is survived by her parents, brother, and sister.

Tuvia Yanai WeissmanTuvia Yania Weissman, 21, was stabbed to death as he tried to save customers at a Rami Levy supermarket from two

knife-wielding terrorists on February 18, 2016.

Yanai, an off-duty combat soldier, responded to the sound of screams

even though he was unarmed. He was fatally stabbed in the back by one of the

terrorists. 

The family had gone to the supermarket in order to prepare for Shabbat and for

his return to the army the next day.

He leaves behind his wife, baby daughter, his parents, and four

brothers.

Eliav Gelman Eliav Gelman, 30, was stabbed by a terrorist while waiting for a bus

at the Gush Etzion junction on February 24, 2016. When Israeli

security forces arrived, they accidentally hit him with an errant

bullet.

A knife-wielding terrorist had charged at Eliav at the junction.

He managed to shoot the terrorist in the knees. But when security

forces reacted to the incident, they inadvertently hit Eliav.

Eliav leaves his wife, two children, his parents, and five brothers and sisters. His wife was seven months

pregnant with their third child when he was killed.

Taylor ForceAmerican MBA student Taylor Allen Force,

29, was stabbed to death on March 8, 2016 amid a Palestinian terror rampage.

Taylor was part of a group of Vanderbilt graduate students visiting Israel. As the group walked down the promenade in

Jaffa, a terrorist began stabbing anyone within reach. Besides Taylor, the terrorist

also stabbed 11 others.

Taylor a graduate of West Point and a veteran of the US Army, left active duty in

2014, after serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He is survived by his parents and sister.

Simha DimriSimha Dimri, 59, was one of three Israeli tourists killed in the suicide

bombing attack on Istambul, Turkey on March 19, 2016.

The terrorist targeted the group of Israelis as they were entering a

restaurant. He followed them inside and detonated his explosive.

Eleven other Israelis were wounded in the attack, including Simha’s husband.

The couple had come as part of an organized tour of Turkey.

She is survived by husband, three sons, a daughter and five

grandchildren.

Avraham GoldmanAvraham Goldman, 69, was another victims of the suicide bomber who targeted an Israeli tour group in

Istanbul Turkey on March 19, 2016.

Avraham’s wife was one of 11 Israelis who were wounded in the attack.

Avraham, who held dual Israeli-American citizenship, worked as a

tour guide in Jerusalem.

He is survived by his wife, three children, and eight grandchildren.

Yonatan SuherYonatan Suher, 40, was the third

Israeli killed in the suicide bombing in Istanbul, Turkey on March 19, 2016.

Yonatan came to Turkey to celebrate his 40th birthday. His wife Inbal was

also injured in the attack.

He is survived by his wife and their two children.

Ido Ben-AriIdo Ben-Ari, 41, was killed in the shooting attack at Sarona Market

complex in Tel Aviv on June 8, 2016.

Two terrorists dressed in business suits opened fire on the popular night spot, killing four people and wounding 16

more before being neutralized by security.

Ido was with his wife, and children at the Max Brenner restaurant when the attack took place. His wife was also

wounded.

He worked as a senior manager of the The Coca-Cola Company’s Israel branch. He is survived by his wife, two children,

parents and siblings.

Ilana NavaaIlana Navaa was at the Sarona

Market complex to celebrate her 40th birthday at Max Brenner restaurant on June 8, 2016.

While there, two terrorists opened fire, killing four people. Ilana

suffered a fatal heart attack during the shooting, precipitated by the

trauma of the attack.

Ilana is survived by her husband, four daughters, her mother,

brother and sister.

Michael FeigeDr. Michael Feige, 58, was killed at

the Sarona Market complex in Tel Aviv on June 8, 2016.

Dr. Feige was head of Israel Studies at Ben-Gurion University in the Negev. He was described as an

extremely approachable academic who was respected and admired by

his students and colleagues.

He is survived by his wife and three daughters.

Mila MishayevMila Mishayev, 32, was waiting for

her fiancé at the Sarona Market complex when two terrorists opened fire on the popular spot, killing four

people, including Mila.

She was hit by bullets in her lower body and died of her injuries

sustained to her leg.

Mila is survived by her parents, brothers and a sister.

Hallel Yaffa ArielThirteen-year-old Hallel Yaffe Ariel was murdered in her own home on

June 30, 2016.

A terrorist broke into her house in Kiryat Arba and stabbed her

repeatedly as she slept in her own bed.

Hallel had come home late from a dance recital the night before, and

was alone in the house as she slept.

She was in the 8th grade and attended the middle school in Kiryat Arba. She is survived by her parents

and four siblings.

Rabbi Michael "Miki" MarkRabbi Michael (Miki) Mark, 48, a father of

10, was killed in a drive-by shooting attack on route 60 near Hebron on July 1, 2016.

Miki was driving with his wife in the passenger seat and two of their children in

the back when they were hit by gunfire from a passing vehicle. The gunfire caused

the car to overturn, killing Miki, severely wounding his wife and injuring both of the

children.

Miki was the director of the rabbinic school in Otniel. His wife’s sister lost a son in the

shooting attack on the Merkaz HaRav yeshiva in 2008.

He is survived by his wife and their 10 children.
