However, if the relationship was as close as it once was, her feelings would only have intensified, not diminished. That's why it's so important that you honestly survey what you've been doing in the relationship. Have you always given her all the emotional support she needed?

Were you less than kind to her at times?

Did you leave her to deal with the responsibility of tending to the children's daily needs as well as keeping the house up to par?

If any of these sound familiar to you, you need to make amends with the woman you married. Apologize to her for your behavior.
